WP-7 is type of direct action fuze that functions by the nose of fuze’s head part hitting something reasonably solid,
such as the military vehicle, structure or ground, generating high voltage energy and transfering it to a spark
initiator into a detonator (bottom part of fuze) which detonates warhead’s shaped charge. Bottom part of the fuze
is also responsible for keeping warhead safe until its activation conditions are met. In case of not hitting target, the
fuze destroys the warhead after 4-6 seconds from launching projectile.
