A
gdyby tak pobyć sobie nieodpowiedzialnym,
krnabrnym przez chwilę. Powiedzieć światu „teraz mam humory i proszę się nie zbliżać.”
Jak by to było móc sobie pozwolić na fanaberie
i humory, pobyć chwilę dzieckiem. Ucieszyć się
nową sukienka po prostu, nie mając świadomości ile kosztowała. Posiedzieć na podłodze i
porozpaczać bo spódnica przestał się podobać
i nie ma co na siebie włożyć. Poobrażać się na
przypadkową ofiarę bez powodu, tylko dlatego
że smutno. Pomarzyć o sukni księżniczki albo
porobić ludki z dłoni. Poczarować... poskakać
po łóżku nie oglądając się na to że to już dawno
nie przystoi. Ale to wszystko to tylko na chwilę,
i najlepiej żeby nikt nie widział. Bo konsekwencji
nikt nie lubi.
Zwykle maluję nagie postacie jednak niedawno
zaczęłam się zastanawiać nad funkcją ubioru,
inną niż ta najbardziej prozaiczna zakrycia ciała
i zapewnienia mu komfortu. Ubiór jest mocno
związany z indywidualnością i tożsamością jednostki. Dzieci często toczą małe wojny z rodzicami gdyż chcą poprzez ubiór manifestować swoją
indywidualność. Z czasem, dojrzewając, dostosowujemy się do ról i wzorców społecznych. Ubiór
wtedy staje się rodzajem maski, tarczy czy zbroi
bardziej chroniącej niż wyrażającej indywidualność. Przesadna ekspresja i kult „swojego własnego stylu” niesie za sobą konsekwencje które
nie każdy może lub chce ponosić.

Usually I paint nude figures, recently however
I started to wonder about the function of clothing, other than the most prosaic one to cover
the body and provide it with comfort. Attire is
strongly associated with personality and identity of the individual. Children often wage a
small war with their parents because they want
to manifest their individuality through clothes.
With time, while maturingwe adapt to the social
roles and patterns. Clothing then becomes a
kind of mask, shield or armor toprotect rather than to express individuality. Exaggerated
expression and cult of “my own style” entails
consequences which not everyone wants or can

rodzona 1986 roku w Gdańsku, Anna Wypych ukończyła Akademię sztuk Pięknych
w Gdańsku. Podczas studiów otrzymała siedmiokrotnie państwowe nagrody: Ministra Kultury,
Marszałka Województwa Pomorskiego, Prezydenta Miasta Gdańska. Wypych wygrała Grand
Prix w prestiżowym konkursie ”Artystyczna
podróż Hestii” w 2010 roku i jako nagrodę
spędziła miesiąc w Nowym Jorku. Prezentowała swoje prace w muzeach i galeriach w Polsce

Arts, Istanbul, Turkey, “European contemporar

Anna Wypych zdobyła dyplom magistra w 2011
roku.
Po ukończeniu uczelni wyższej zdobyła nagrodę
„ Pomorska Nadzieja artystyczna” Marszałek
Województwa Pomorskiego oraz „Certificate
of Exellence” Palm Art Award 2012, Niemcy.
W 2012 roku wzięła udział w : wystawie finałowej konkursu „ Grand Prix Fundacji Franciszki
Eibish” w Warszawie i „CONTEMPORART.

orn 1986 in Gdańsk, Poland Anna Wypych
began painting as a child. She graduated
from Academy of Fine Art in Gdansk, Poland.
During her studies she received seven national awards from the Ministry of Culture, the
Marshal of the Pomeranian and the Mayor of
Gdansk. Wypych won a Grand Prix in the national contest “Artistic journey Hestia” in 2010
and as a result she spent a month in New York
City. She presented her works at various museums and galleries in Poland but also abroad,
including V International Student Art Triennial,
Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Istanbul, Turkey, “European contemporar Tapestryand Textile Art” Acadérmie royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles, Belgium; series of exhibitions
under the “kunstbrucke 2″ Ost-Europa-Forum
für Wirtschaft, Technologie und Kultur eV, Berlin, Germany, “Kunst modell” Passau, Germany.
She completed an artist workshops : 10th International Artistic Workshop Marek Marie Pienkowski Foundation and V International Students
plein air Painting in Kazimierz Dolny. Anna
Wypychreceived her master’s degree in 2011.
Since graduation she received such rewards
as „Pomeranian artistic hope 2011”; „Grant for
Culture Creators” from the Marshal of Pomeranian, „Certificate of Exellence” Palm Art Award
2012, Germany. In 2012 she was a part of the final exhibit of “Grand Prix Franciszka’s Eibisch
Foundation”in Warsaw and „CONTEMPORART.

Now she works and lives in Gdynia, Poland with
her husband and two cats. T
he artist cultivates the realistic figurative art
and usually specializes in nudes. She combines the traditional technique of oil painting
with acrylic sketches. The starting point of her
work and also the main theme is always a man,
but Anna Wypych goes beyond physicality as if
she wants more to capture the spirit than the
body.
What the artist says about her painting:
“I take Inspiration from what I see around me,
but my personal thoughts are only the starting
point and kind of inspiration for the research on
the man and his condition.
WORK
You can not say that my paintings are realistic,
but I use a realistic painting techniques. I create
my own space in which I put a symbolic elements, creating a kind of puzzle. But to read it
you don’t need scientific methods only the emotion and sensitivity of the recipient. „

A
rtystka zajmuje się realistyczną sztuką figuratywną, specjalizuje się w aktach. Łączy
tradycyjną technikę malarstwa olejnego z szkicami w techice akrylowej. Punktem wyjściowym
jej prac a zarazem głównym tematem jest zawsze człowiek, ale Anna Wypych wychodzi poza
fizyczność tak jak by chciała bardziej uchwycić
ducha niż ciało.
O swojej twórczości mówi sama malarka:
„Inspiruję się tym, co widzę wokół siebie, jednak
moje osobiste przemyślenia są tylko punktem
wyjścia i rodzajem inspiracji do badań nad człowiekiem i jego kondycją.
Nie można powiedzieć o moich obrazach że są
realistyczne, choć posługuje się realistycznymi
środkami malarskimi. Tworzę własną przestrzeń
symboliczną w której umieszczam elementy
tworząc swoisty rebus. Lecz aby go odczytać
nie potrzebne są metody naukowe ale emocje i
wrażliwość odbiorcy.„
