spaceandhouses40shopsandserviceoutlets.Theshoppingmallhasbeencommercialised
in80percent.ThepropertyislocatedattheheartoftheZaspadistrictandsurroundedby
housingestateswitheasyaccesstourbantransport.
“WehaveclearlydefinedrequirementsforeachlocationofCalypsoFitnessclubs.Ourpriority
islocation,whichmustbeconvenientforourclients.Westayclosetoclientswhogotowork,
go shopping, go back home, spend their free time. Our clubs must be easy to reach and
provide parking spaces. Galeria Zaspa is such a property. With its excellent location, which
ensures easy access, a car park, proximity of urban transport, situated only 5 km from city
centre, we reach out to people spending their time at Galeria Zaspa and the population of

As part of the upgrade of the shopping mall, the structure of the building has been
reinforced; the interior and the façade have been modernised; the layout of the traffic
routeshasbeenfullyrearranged.Tomakeshoppingmoreconvenient,spaciousalleyshave
beenopeneduponbothfloors,andnewescalatorsandanelevatorhavebeeninstalled.The
propertyhasbeenupgradedtoprovideaccesstopersonswithdisabilitiesandfamilieswith
children.Customerscanuseacarparkwith215parkingspaces,aswellasbicycleracks.
“GaleriaZaspa(formerlyETC)hasbecomealandmarkandaddressestheneedsofthelocal
community. The upgrade was a must in order to follow the current trends and face the

According to the investor strategy, Galeria Zaspa is a centre for everyday convenient
shoppingfortheinhabitantsoftheZaspadistrictandaplacewheretheycanusenecessary
services,meetandspendtimetogether.Asaresult,thetenantsincludebothnationalretail
chains such as the supermarket Intermarche, the drugstore Rossmann, the fitness club
Calypso,theelectronicsretailerEuroRTVADG,Domino’sPizzaandthepatisserieSowa,and
representativesoflocalbrandssuchasthebakerySzydłowski,ZOOKarina,thedelicatessen
Camellia, the fashion stores Textil Market and Exxelent. Galeria Zaspa also offers other
amenitiesincludingatailor’s,adrycleaner’s,akeycuttingservice,acurrencyexchange,an
ATM,aphotographer’s,aswellastheMedicalLaboratorySynevo.
“We keep growing fast and opening new stores. We are always looking for new locations
convenient for our clients. We want to be even more accessible. Galeria Zaspa serves the

hundredmetersawayfromtheshoppingmallbutnowallourloyalclientsshopwithusat

GaleriaZaspaalsoservestenantswhowereaffiliatedwiththeformerETC.
“Our photography shop was the only one to open together with the shopping mall ETC.
Clientssoonacceptedourprofileandgottolikeourservice.Thisiswhywehavedecidedto
stayatGaleriaZaspa.Everyoneisveryhappywiththeupgradeandthenewlook.Itisa21st
centuryshoppingmall,whereshoppingisarealpleasure,”saidZbigniewBogucki,Ownerof

“We opened at the former ETC in 2011. We were very happy with the location. During the
upgrade,ourclientswereaskingwhetherwewouldstayinthenewshoppingmall.Hence,it
was obvious for us that we should remain here. Our sales increased in April and May. We
expectthatthesummerseasonwiththesaleandthenewcollectionforschoolstudentswill
attractmanybuyersaswell,”saidMonikaSołtysiewicz,MarketingOfficeratTextilMarket.
Whatdothecustomersthingabouttheshoppingmall?Accordingtothetenants,theyare
veryhappywiththeupgradeandfrequentlyvisitthenewshoppingmall.
“ClientsreallyliketheupgradedversionoftheformerETCGdańsk.Thepropertyhadtobe
broughtinlinewiththecurrentstandards.Wehaveheardmanypositivecomments.Clients
alsoappreciateourlocationintheshoppingmall.Wehavetwoentrances:fromtheoutside
andfrominsidetheproperty,aswellasauniquestorefrontdesignfeaturinggenuineloaves
of bread. Such modern design improves customer perception,” said Andrzej Szydłowski,
OwnerofthebakeryandpatisserieSzydłowski.
Galeria Zaspa continues to expand its commercial offer. KIK, a store selling clothing,
jewellery,toys,hometextilesandgardeningequipment,openson11August.Itwilluse550
square meters of space on the first floor of the shopping mall. The consultancy BOIG is
responsibleforthecommercialisationofspace.Negotiationsareunderwaytoletoutthelast
vacantlocations.
