The refurbishment notwithstanding, the trade and service outlets remain open in a
temporarymarketsituatedintheETCcarparkandwithinselectedareasofthebuilding.
AtemporaryoutdoormarketopenedinAprilinfrontoftheshoppingmallalongPoznańska
St.Twenty-sixtenantshavemovedtothoselocationsforthedurationoftheupgradeasof
early May. The hypermarket Intermarche and the fitness club 2B Active have remained at
their usual spots while the drugstore Rossmann, the jewellery boutique YES and the
electronics store Euro ETV AGD will open at temporary locations. This space for tenants is
nowunderpreparation.
“ETC does not close for the upgrade. The people of Swarzędz and the surrounding
regionarewelcometodotheirdailyshoppinginthetemporaryoutdoormarket,”said
MarcinJuszczyk,MemberoftheManagementBoardofGrupaCapitalPark.“Wewill
startthemainconstructionworkduringthesummerholidays.ItwillnotaffectETC,
which remains open throughout the duration of the upgrade. After completion, the
tenantswillmovebackintorefurbishedspaces,”addedMrJuszczyk.
The temporary market houses the organic food store Organic, the wine merchant’s Mine
Wine,theperfumerySG,thee-cigaretteshopTRENDY,thebarbersuppliesstoreKosmykand
thepharmacyHeureka,aswellasthefashionstores:Cross,Reporter,TopSecret,Iga,Cherry
Berry, the leather accessories store Fenix and the undergarment store Bielizna MB. The
temporary market also includes the footwear stores Prestige and Mathico, as well as the
Highland clothing and shoes Hawel. Clients can also visit the beauty parlour and
hairdresser’sWiola,thetravelagent’sJamajka,amoneyexchange,themobilephonerepair
shopCorner,pointsofsaleofNC+,PLUS,PolsatandT-mobile,aswellasthebarAgaJaga,
the patisserie Zielona Budka and the Turkish restaurant Marhaba Grill. There are two
EuronetATMswithintheETCmall.
Theshopsoperatinginthetemporarymarketareopenfrom10a.m.to9p.m.Mondayto
Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m on Sundays. The Intermarche hypermarket continues
withbusinessasusualduringtheupgradeandremainsopenfrom8a.m.to9p.m.Monday
toFridayandfrom9a.m.to8p.monweekends.Thefitnessclub2BActiveisopenfrom6
a.m.to11p.m.MondaytoFridayandfrom8a.m.to8p.monweekends.
Therefurbishmentoftheshoppingmallisscheduledtobeginduringthesummerholidays.
TheworkwillcontinueuntilH22017.TheconstructioncorporationDORACOisthegeneral
contractor. The shopping mall will be upgraded and aligned with the current market
standardsandtheneedsofcustomersandtenants.TheETCSwarzędzupgradeplanincludes
reorganisationoftrafficrouteswithintheproperty.Theexistingstand-alonebuildingswillbe
connectedunderroof.Thelayoutofoutletswillberearrangedandafoodcourtwillopen.
Thestandardofthebuildingwillimproveasitgetsanewfaçadeandmoderninteriors.The
floor area of 20 thousand square meters will accommodate 80 shops of the existing local
tenantsinnewformats.
