Annelies Deleu and Eveline Emmelmann - students of Katholieke Hogeschool
Zuid-West-Vlaanderen in Kortrijk (Belgium) - have studied at the University of Rzeszów as
Erasmus students during summer semester 2003/2004.
In "Filon"(student hostel) we made a lot of friends. This was on the birthday party of a good friend. We
were having a lot of fun and started singing.

Before the real work, we went to Slovakia (Humenne) on a ski camp with students of Physical Education
1-10 February. We made some real good friends and had a great time.

Instead of skiing, we went snowboarding. Here we were just on top of the mountain closing our
bindings.

The day after we went to eat pizza with our Belgian teacher, Eveline felt sick (thank you mr. Standaert
for the red chilli peppers). This was just after some observations in the school.

Once we were invited to go snowboarding in Krynica. It didn`t last long and one of us ended up in the

hospital with a broken nose, a few stitches, a concussion and a swollen knee.
On 8th April there was still snow in Rzeszow.
On Easter some friends took us home to Tomaszów. We spent the holidays with the family according to
Polish tradition. We ate a lot, we drank a lot, we laughed for hours. And on Monday we went to a
mountain to picnick and enjoyed the first sun in three month.
