INSTRUCTIONS
Introduction
WALL INSTALLATION
This kit enables you to make a permanent
Venting installation through a wall of
maximum thickness 410mm or through a
window, for your tumble dryer. For periods
of disconnection from the window
arrangement, a cover is provided.
With either installation; if the distance
between the appliance outlet and the hole
in the wall or window is to be more than 1m
(39”) then you will also require the optional
extra long vent hose (2.3m=7.5ft)
to substitute for the short one provided.
For a direct ‘in-line’ connection, mark X =
200mm and Y = 100mm (fig 1).
Note; Y dimension may be increased to
200mm to facilitate easier drilling, if
required.

Prepare the hole in the wall(s) as
Shown (fig 1).

From outside, insert the wall tube A
with the external flange B fitted to it
(fig.2), and mark the position of the
three fixing holes. Remove the external flange, drill the holes and fit
the wall plugs.
From inside, thread the inner wall
plate H onto the vent hose G and
pass the uncapped end through the
wall tube A (fig.3.). Press the inner
wall plate against the wall and mark
the hole positions. Remove the vent
hose and plate, drill the holes and fit
the wall plugs. Re-fit the hose and
plate and secure in place with the
four short screws C.

4 From outside, push the wall tube A
back against the inner wall plate H
and mark the position of the wall
onto the wall tube. Remove the wall
tube and cut it 60mm shorter than
the wall mark (fig. 4).

F Rubber seal (for window fitting)
G Vent hose
From the outside, re-fit the wall tube
and push it firmly against the inner
wall plate. If necessary, pull the vent
hose through the wall tube as shown
(fig. 5).
Insert the hose end piece J into the
external flange B, and screw the
assembly anti-clockwise onto the
vent hose.
Note: the hose end piece has a lefthand thread.
6 From outside, push the complete
assembly back into the hole in the
wall and secure the installation with
the three long screws C (fig.6).

WINDOW INSTALLATION
1 Decide the position of your outlet
and prepare the hole in the window
as shown (fig.7). You may decide to
re-glaze the window with the hole
already prepared by your glass
merchant.
2 Screw together the external and
internal flanges B and D as shown
(fig.7), locating the rubber seal F on
the outside of the glass.

Screw the hose end piece J anticlockwise onto the vent hose and
press into place onto the internal
flange (fig.8).
Note; the hose end piece has a lefthand thread.
The cover E is provided to cover the
outlet during periods of disconnecttion.
DRYER CONNECTION
For normal connection, screw the slotted
end piece G onto the vent hose (left hand
thread) and clip into the exhaust
hole K in the back of your dryer (fig.9)
and carefully push the dryer back into it’s
operating position taking care not to
damage or kink the vent hose.
If you purchased the extra long vent
hose to make a remote installation, you
will have to unscrew the square end
fitting (left hand thread) and replace it
with the hose end piece J.
