EMOCJE a praktyka jogi. Praca nad emocjami a osiąganie „kultury
EMOCJE a praktyka jogi. Praca nad emocjami a osiąganie „kultury emocjonalnej” bez emocji. Emotions and practice of yoga. Work on the emotions and achieving "emotional culture" without emotions. Yoga in the modern version, aiming primarily to Western customers in the form of socalled hatha-yoga, is aimed at obtaining a therapeutic effect. Its modern proponents have adapted it to the needs of human being feeling a great stress because of the contemporary civilization, i.e. a pressure to do so called career, risks related to nutrition, pollution, noise, and an emphasis on consumption as well as institutional secularization of modern society, etc. There can be done, in school of yoga, "the work on emotions”, which is performed by certain physical practices when using body for an emotional stability, an elimination of negative emotions and achieving peace of mind. Work on emotions appears to be an internalized ritual of "modern religion", which usually is not visible to outside observers, and even for the ones working on the emotions. Work on the mental and physical health is a "place of the border, " where the aspirations’ sphere of the profane (the practical objectives of the subject) meets with the aspirations of the sacred (spiritual goals). Work on emotions, whose characteristics are a desire to transcend, by practitioners, existential conditions and to become someone else, and the desire for the old body to be dead and new to be born with a refreshed new psyche, generally without any emotions. Working with emotions in hatha - yoga is therefore the initiation (in the sense of M. Eliade), if practitioners make a clear change in their mind confirmed by the new interpretations of their own emotions and their feelings.
