Oferta współpracy w programie Horyzont 2020 „Shale Gas Extraction research” W załączeniu przesyłamy ofertę współpracy przy tworzeniu konsorcjum do projektu: Horizon 2020 LCE-162014 Call: “Interested in Coordinating Shale Gas Extraction research – LCE-16-2014 At University of Ulster we are organised to coordinate a research project related to the Horizon 2020 LCE-162014 Call: Understanding, preventing and mitigating the potential environmental impacts and risks of shale gas exploration and exploitation. We are seeking collaborating research partners to work with us. 1 University of Ulster is pursuing research in the area of shale gas extraction, with particular emphasis on the development of best practice tools for assessing and monitoring safety, health and environmental concerns. We have identified a number of the research packages that are likely to be included in our proposal and have started the process of making the key research contacts, within both academia and the industry. We are currently at the detailed discussions stage with our USA and Canadian partners (academic and industry). And we are at an early stage with identifying key European collaborating partners to complete the research team. We would be interested in hearing from researchers/ industry representatives who would be interested in working with University of Ulster in this field of research. Specialist areas to include: geologists, geotechnical experts and geophysicists, chemists, environmental scientists, occupational health specialists, safety, software engineers, physicists, climatologists. Geographical areas to include: Poland, Lithuania, UK, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Spain, South of France, Romania, Bulgaria. The above list is non-exhausitve.
