All MASSES are in English except the 11:00 Sunday mass
which is in Polish. CONFESSIONS are heard in English
every Saturday before the Vigil Mass, from 3:45 to 4:15
p.m. and in Polish every Sunday before the Polish mass.
CELEBRATION IN HONOR OF THE CANONIZATION
This Sunday, two popes, John XXIII and John Paul II will
be elevated to sainthood in canonization ceremonies to be
held in Rome. For the first time in the history of the Catholic
Church two living popes will be in attendance, Pope Francis
and his predecessor, Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI. It is also
interesting to note that it was Pope John Paul II who put Pope
John XXIII on the final step to sainthood when he beatified him
in September 2000. Pope John Paul was beatified by Pope
Benedict XVI in 2011.
Because of our Polish traditions and our parishioners of Polish
descent, we are especially proud and grateful for the
canonization of our Polish Pope, John Paul II. We invite you to
join with us in our celebration at a special Mass on Sunday,
April 27, at 11:00
