ABOUT LOCATION
Adama Mickiewicza Avenue in Kraków – one of the three Avenues of the Poet-Prophets (Aleje Trzech Wieszczów) in
Kraków, which surround the city centre from west and north-west – they are a part of the 2nd their construction in the 30’s of
the 20th c., in their place there was a railroad embankment encircling Kraków, created in 1887-1888, while on their outer
side – a fort complex of Kraków Fortress. Adama Mickiewicz Avenue runs from Inwalidów Square till the intersection with
Marszałka Ferdynanda Focha Ave. Along it, there are monumental public buildings – the National Museum, the building of
Jagiellonian Library, the main building of AGH University of Science and Technology. The opposite direction roadways (with
three traffic lanes each) are separated by a wide greenbelt.
