ABOUT LOCATION
Państwowe Liceum Sztuk Plastycznych (the National High School of Fine Arts) was established in 1946 with the seat in a
residential building at Juliusza Lea Street in Kraków. The main building surrounded with a garden and containing art studios
was opened in 1969; it was designed according to the Bauhaus style with the specific purpose of housing a fine art school.
The high school was converted into Zespół Państwowych Szkół Plastycznych (The Complex of Natioal Fine Arts Schools), which
currently comprises a six-year secondary school of fine arts and a four-year high school of fine arts.
