The Letter to the Hebrews
today sings a hymn of praise
to Abraham and to his faith,
upon which are founded the
religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Abraham is
called “father” in faith by
more people on earth than
anybody else, numerous as
the sands of the seashore or
the stars of the heavens. Hebrews tells us it was this
foundational faith that led
Abraham to obey God’s call
when he heard it, though he
was called to journey to a
land he did not know and
told he would father a mighty
race through a marriage he
thought was barren. But
Abraham’s faith, the author
of Hebrews tells us, was his
realization of what he hoped
for, and the evidence of what
he could not see. How often
are we, in simple daily events
of our own Christian vocation, called to an unfamiliar
place or told we are to do
something we do not believe
we can? How fortunate we
are to have Father Abraham
as our guide and example!

Dear Friends!
With faith, hope, love and trust we continue our ministry among you. Every day we experience many
signs of affection, kindness, spiritual, and material help from you. For all this, let Jesus be glorified! For
all this, I express deepest thanks and assure you of constant prayers for you and for your families.
Last week we completed the renovation of housing for Fr. Wojciech and will soon begin a small and
less expensive renovation of housing for Fr. James. Please be with us, we need your continued support,
prayers and generosity. I know we can always count on you! I know that you are the best in the world and
that is why I am very proud of you! Together, united, we can make many wonderful works in our parish
community.
I am happy to announce that last week several new students registered to our St. Albert the Great
school. The new principal, Mrs. Jodi McLawhorn, along with the secretary Miss Kasia Kępkowska and
teachers work very hard to bring in more students and make the school function even better. I am
thankful for that. Dear parents, please consider investing in your children’s Catholic education, because,
to a greater or lesser extent, we all are responsible for this!
I would like to encourage everyone to get involved in the life of our parish by becoming an altar
server, lector, and minister of Eucharist, a cantor, a member of the choir, lector or a volunteer for the
parish carnival. I am convinced that there are many talented parishioners who can further enrich our
liturgy. Do not be afraid! I count on your wisdom and commitment!
Next Sunday, August 14th our beloved priest, Fr. Joseph Mol will celebrate the 7:30 a.m. Mass. We
welcome Fr. Mol in our church with great joy and love.

Drodzy Przyjaciele
Z wiarą, nadzieją, miłością i ufnością kontynuujemy naszą posługę pośród was. Każdego dnia
doświadczamy wiele przejawów serdeczności, życzliwości i pomocy duchowej oraz materialnej z waszej
strony. Za to wszystko niech będzie Jezus uwielbiony! Za to wszystko dziękujemy i zapewniamy was o
nieustannej modlitwie za was i za wasze rodziny.
W ostatnim tygodniu zakończylismy prace remontowo-mieszkaniowe dla ks. Wojciecha i wkrótce
zacznie się mały i mniej kosztowny remont mieszkania dla ks. James. Proszę bądźcie z nami, wspierajcie nas w
dalszym ciągu swoją modlitwą i swoją ofiarnością. Wiem, że można na was zawsze liczyć! Wiem, że jesteście
najlepsi na świecie i dlatego jestem z was bardzo dumny! Razem zjednoczeni możemy dokonać wiele
wspaniałych dzieł w naszej wspólnocie parafialnej.
Cieszę się, że do naszej katolickiej szkoły św. Alberta Wielkiego w ostatnim tygodniu zapisało się
kilkanaście nowych dzieci. Nowa dyrektor szkoły Jodi wraz z sekretarką p. Kasią i nauczycielami pracują
bardzo ciężko aby szkoła funkcjonowala jeszcze lepiej, aby było jeszcze więcej uczniów. Jestem wam za to
bardzo wdzięczny. Kochani rodzice, proszę rozważyć to i posłać swoje dzieci do naszej katolickiej szkoły.
Zainwestujcie w katolicką edukację swoich dzieci bo każdy z nas w większym lub mniejszym stopniu
jest za to odpowiedzialny!
Chcę was również zachęcić do czynnego zaangażowania się w życie naszego kościoła przez bycie
ministrantem, lektorem, ministrem Eucharystii, kantorem, członkiem chóru lub scholi, marszałkiem,
wolontariuszem w czasie parafialnego karnawału itp. Jestem przekonany, że w czasie każdej Mszy Swiętej
odprawianej w naszym kościele jest wiele utalentowanych ludzi, którzy mogą jeszcze bardziej ubogacić naszą
liturgię. Nie bójcie się! Liczę na waszą mądrość i zaangażowanie! To jaka jest nasza liturgia zależy także od
ciebie!
Za tydzień 14 sierpnia Mszę Świętą niedzielną o godz. 7:30 am. odprawiać będzie wasz umiłowany ks.
Józef Mol, którego zawsze z radoscią i miłością witamy w naszym kościele.

Polska Katolicka Szkoła im. ks. Ignacego Posadzego jest Parafialną Szkołą Świętego Alberta Wielkiego.
Zapraszamy wszystkich Rodziców, a szczególnie tych którzy przynależą do naszej parafii do skorzystania z
katolickiego programu nauczania w Szkole, która odwołuje się do chrześcijańskich wartości, o które każdy z nas
powinien zabiegać, pielęgnować je i przekazywać. W ten sposób popieramy i wspieramy naszą parafię. Pamiętajmy, że
Szkoła w swej naturze jest instytucją pomocniczą i dopełniającą działalność Rodziny i Kościoła. Rodzina, Szkoła i
Kościół tworzą jakby jeden ścisły organizm wychowania chrześcijańskiego. Każda z tych wymienionych instytucji, nie
jest w stanie POJEDYŃCZO wychować, umocnić i ochronić dorastające w dzisiejszym świecie dzieci. Wskazana jest
współpraca między domem - szkołą - Kościołem. Nie jest dobrze, gdy dziecko czegoś innego uczy się w domu, niż w
szkole czy w Kościele. Musimy zadbać o jedność w działaniu czyli w wychowywaniu, a wtedy będziemy silniejsi, a tym
samym dzieci będą silniejsze, dumne ze swego POLSKIEGO POCHODZENIA i z WYZNAWANEJ WIARY!
