Cele przedmiotu
Cel 1 This course is designed to introduce students to the Arab culture. It focus on image of the Arab in Western
Opinion. Moreover, the course refers to the complex of different subjects such as cultural values, style of life,
beliefs and habits, which are shared by Islamic societies.

MW1 Student will be able to: describe the tension between generalization and stereotyping, understand basic elements of other cultures, distinguish cultural diferences
MU2 Student will able to: critically asses different resources, interpret behaviour , explain problem of clash of
civilizations.
MK3 Student will able to: take the role of the other, explain the status of woman in Arab societies, question the
prevailing myths surrounding Western and arab relations.
