The ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES PRAYER EVENT is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 3rd,

pray the Rosary within the 8am to 9am
hour. The Rosary will be prayed for the following intention: For
an end to the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn babies.

On Tuesday, April 29, there
will be a practice for the students in the Religious Education (CCD) Program who will be receiving their First Holy
Communion. Students are to meet in front of the school at
4:00pm and parents will pick them up at 6pm in front of the
church. Students in the CCD Program will receive their First
Holy Communion on Saturday, May 3rd at the 12:30pm Mass.
They should meet in the school hall at 11:45am.
The last Religious Education Class for the 2007-008
school year will be held on Saturday, May 10. Classes will
begin at 8am and dismissal is at 10am. Certificates for the
students in the Confirmation and First Communion Classes as
well as perfect attendance certificates will be distributed at this
time.
THE COMPLETE TUITION FEE SHOULD BE PAID IN FULL
NO LATER THAN MAY 10, 2008.

Acts 8:5-8, 14-17
“If you’re happy and you know it, then your
face will surely show it.” Though these
words come from an old campfire song
and not a theology book, they still apply to
the Christian life. We can be sure that
many who listened to Philip’s words and saw God working in
their midst ended up with smiles on their faces. They found deliverance and healing that day, and their whole attitude was
transformed. They weren’t just healed-they were as different as
day from night.
This transformation can still happen today as we turn to God
and let his joy become our strength. He always keeps his promises, and he’s ready to help us even when life’s pressures beat
us down. All we have to do is try our best to lay our burdens at
his feet and quiet our racing minds. Then we’ll be able to hear
his voice. As we free ourselves from distractions, we will sense
his presence, and begin to feel the unmistakable joy that only he
can give us. Its’ a heartfelt peace that often comes out in a
smile, a laugh, or a glint in our eye-and there’s no way we can
fake it.!
At Mass today, thank God that he has given you so many
ways to share in his joy. There is probably no greater joy than
participating in the sacraments. Receiving the Eucharist can
bring us a contentment beyond understanding, as we are saturated with Christ’s love. And what a relief when we have gone to
Confession, knowing our sins have been washed away! We can
also find joy in answers to prayer, which show us how much
God is involved in our lives.
We have so much to praise God for - so many reasons for our
joy. And even better, it’s contagious! So go before the Lord to
get filled up, then spread that joy everywhere you go!
“Jesus, your love brings a smile to my face. Help me to spread
your joy around, so that one day we will praise you together
around your throne.

Mes de mayo dedicado
a la Virgen María
La Iglesia dedica a la Virgen María
el mes de Mayo para conocer mejor
sus virtudes y amarla más. Son muchas las virtudes de la Virgen y podemos aprovechar este mes para
crecer en alguna de ellas.
Se trata de que nos esforcemos por vivir como hijos
suyos. Esto significa:
• Mirar a María como a una madre: Platicarle todo
lo que nos pasa: lo bueno y lo malo. Saber acudir
a ella en todo momento.
• Demostrarle nuestro cariño: Hacer lo que ella
espera de nosotros y recordarla a lo largo del día.
• Confiar plenamente en ella: Todas las gracias que
Jesús nos da, pasan por las manos de María, y es
ella quien intercede ante su Hijo por nuestras dificultades.
• Imitar sus virtudes: Esta es la mejor manera de
demostrarle nuestro amor.
• Rezar en familia las oraciones especialmente dedicadas a María.

El ejemplo de Jesús
Jesucristo es el maestro supremo de la corresponsabilidad cristiana, como él lo es de
todos los aspectos de la vida cristiana; y en
las enseñanzas y en la vida de Jesús, la
entrega total es fundamental. Puede parecer
que la entrega tiene muy poco que ver con
la corres-ponsabilidad cristiana, pero en el
caso de Jesús esto no es así. Su entrega no
es una autonegación estéril por su propia
causa; más bien, al poner su persona a un
lado, se llena de la voluntad del Padre, y su
satisfacción es esta: "Mi alimento es hacer la
voluntad del que me envió y llevar a cabo su
obra" (Jn 4:34). La misión de Jesús es restaurar el orden de la creación de Dios que
fue interrumpida por el pecado. No sólo realizó esa tarea perfectamente, paro al llamar
a sus discípulos, les da el poder para colaborar con él en
la tarea de la redención de ellos mismos y también de los
demás. Al describir su camino de vida, Jesús no pierde
tiempo proponiendo ideales elevados pero irreales; él les
dijo a sus seguidores cómo debían vivir. Las Bienaventuranzas y el resto del Sermón de la Montaña prescriben el
estilo de vida de un discípulo cristiano (cf. Mt 5:3-7:27).
Aunque no es atractiva para los gustos mundanos, "la
sabiduría de este mundo es necedad ante Dios" (1 Cor
3:19), es bueno vivir de este modo. "El que escucha mis
pala-bras y las practica es como un hombre inteligente
que edificó su casa sobre la roca. En cambio, el que oye
estas palabras sin ponerlas en práctica, es como el que
no piensa, y construye su casa sobre la arena" (Mt
7:24,26).
Las ultima clases de Religión (Catecismo, CCD) se
realizarán el día 10 de Mayo de 2008 de 8:00 AM en la
iglesia con la entrega de los diplomas y terminará a las
10:00 AM.
El Martes 29 d e Abril habrá el ensayo antes de la Primera Comunión a partir de las 4:00 PM hasta
6:00PM.
Para el ensayo los niños deben reunirse en frente de
la escuela a las 4:00 de la tarde y los padres podrán
recogerlos a las 6:00 de la tarde en frente de la iglesia.
Los niños de clase CCD van a tener su Primera Comunión el
día 3 de Mayo de 2008 a horas 12:30PM, por eso deben reunirse en Makuch Hall a horas 11:45AM.
El pago por las clases de CCD debe efectuarse antes de 10
de Mayo de 2008.

Dzień Świętości Życia
Dziś w naszej parafii, celebrujemy Dzień Świętości
Życia. W czasie ostatniej
pielgrzymki do Stanów
Zjednoczonych Ojciec
Święty Benedykt XVI bardzo mocno podkreślił sprawę obrony życia biednych
i bezbronnych zwłaszcza dzieci nienarodzonych.
Ruch Krzewienia Duchowej Adopcji odpowiadając
na wezwania Ojca Św. serdecznie zaprasza do
udziału w uroczystej Mszy św. podczas której będzie można dokonać duchowej adopcji dziecka poczętego. Program dzisiejszej uroczystości jest następujący:

Uroczystość Najświętszej
Maryi Panny
Królowej Polski
Od wieków już w dniu 3-go maja
nasze myśli i serca skierowane są na
Jasną Górę, gdzie obchodzona jest
Uroczystość Najśw. Maryi Panny Królowej Polski. W czasie szwedzkiego
potopu w 16-ym wieku ówczesny król,
Jan Kazimierz miano Matkę Bożą Królową Korony Polskiej. Ślubując Jej wierność całego narodu.
Matka Boża prowadziła i prowadzi nasz naród ku jego
przeznaczeniu poprzez wszystkie epoki chwały i okresy
narodowej niedoli.
3-ci maja to rocznica powstania konstytucji uchwalonej
pod przewodnictwem Króla Stanisława Augusta. Konstytucja 3 maja jest drugą na świcie, a pierwszą w Europie nowoczesną konstytucją, regulującą organizację władz państwowych, a także prawa i obowiązki obywateli.
W tym dniu 1791 r. nasi przodkowie uchwaloną ustawę
zasadniczą przynieśli przed ołtarze dając wyraz przeświadczeniu, że każde dzieło ludzkie winno odnosić się do Boga.
Uczmy się od nich tej wielkiej miłości Boga i Ojczyzny.

W tradycji polskiej miesiąc maj
jest poświęcony Najświętszej Maryi
Pannie. W tym miesiącu składamy
hołd Bożej Rodzicielce odmawiając
litanię loretańską do Matki Bożej
jak też rozważając tajemnice różańca świętego.
Zwróćmy uwagę by w tym miesiącu czy to w sposób prywatny czy też przez udział
w nabożeństwie w kościele tej pięknej tradycji stało
się zadość i abyśmy potrafili żyć tak jak żyła Maryja
Matka Chrystusa.
W naszym kościele litania będzie śpiewana 15 minut
przed rozpoczęciem Mszy św.
Pierwszy Piątek
W tym tygodniu przypada pierwszy piątek
miesiąca. Odwiedziny chorych jak zwykle
od godz. 9-tej rano. Jeśli ktoś chciałby,
aby kapłan odwiedzał z duszpasterską posługą kogoś z naszych bliskich czy przyjaciół, prosimy o zgłoszenie tej osoby w biurze parafialnym.

Kurs przed Chrztem dziecka
Przypominamy, że w każdą trzecią niedzielę miesiąca w naszej
parafii po Mszy św. o godz.
10.30 odbywa się kurs przygotowujący rodziców i chrzestnych
do chrztu dziecka.
Osoby zamierzające ochrzcić
dziecko w naszej parafii są proszone o zgłoszenie się na ten
kurs prze chrztem dziecka. Dlatego należy pamiętać, aby:
► zgłosić się do kancelarii parafialnej przynajmniej
półtora miesiąca prze chrztem. (Aby uczestniczyć w
kursie przygotowującym)
► Przy zapisaniu chrztu jest wymagany akt urodzenia
dziecka.

Tak jak w każdą niedzielę tak
również i dzisiaj wychodząc z kościoła można nabyć nowy numer
Tygodnika Katolickiego
„Niedziela”. Znajdziemy tam bardzo ciekawe artykuły na temat
życia kościoła w Polsce także
naszej Archidiecezji. Czytając
ten tygodnik a także inne publikacje np.: „Różaniec”, „Anioł stróż”, „Rodzina
Radia Maryja” pogłębiamy naszą wiarę oraz
miłość do Boga i Kościoła.
Jest także do wzięcia za darmo gazeta
„Katolik” wydawana przez naszą Archidiecezję
