Please support our 5th Annual Fall Fest by volunteering and attending. Details are in the bulletin. On the weekend of September 26-27 we will celebrate in the entire Archdiocese Seminary Sunday. We will have a seminarian as our speaker and the second collection will be taken for the seminary system in our Archdiocese. The Repair and Maintenance collection will be taken next Sunday, September 19th and 20th instead of the original scheduled dates of September 26th and 27th. —Fr. Richard Milek Respect Life Pope Francis: Church Cannot Abandon Human Life "Reason alone is sufficient to recognize the inviolable value of each single human life, but if we also look at the issue from the standpoint of faith, “every violation of the personal dignity of the human being cries out in vengeance to God and is an offence against the creator of the individual” (John Paul II, Christifideles Laici, 37). Precisely because this involves the internal consistency of our message about the value of the human person, the Church cannot be expected to change her position on this question. I want to be completely honest in this regard. This is not something subject to alleged reforms or 'modernizations'"-- Pope Francis, Apostolic Exhortation "The Joy of the Gospel," November 24, 2013. Next Padre Pio Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19th at 7:00pm in the Church. We invite everyone to join us.
