AIM AND SCOPE
The conference "Civil Engineering Infrastructure Based on Polymer Composites CECOM 2012"
will be held in conjunction with

the 3rd International
kompozyt-expo
TRADE FAIR.
CECOM 2012 will be organized by Lodz University and Technology (Polish Group of IIFC), Mostostal Warszawa S.A.,
Targi w Krakowie Ltd. and Rzeszow University of Technology.
The conference will be mainly supported by three international research projects:

The aim of the conference is to provide an international forum for all concerned with the application of FRP composites
in civil engineering to exchange recent advances in both research and practice. The conference will promote the use of
polymer composites in construction of infrastructure facilities and provide an exchange of experience in the following
areas:

Flexible methods for manufacturing of FRP for construction
Concrete structures reinforced or pre-stressed with FRP
FRP strengthening of concrete, steel, masonry and timber structures
Hybrid and other FRP structures
An important part of the conference will present the latest applications of composite materials in the wider construction
industry and infrastructure in the world. Participation of civil engineers, manufacturers of composite materials, designers,
representatives of the scientific research of the key research units and enterprises around the world will enable an
interesting and inspiring technical discussions.
