OUTREACH PROGRAM
Remember we told you that winter is really rough
on our pantry? I don’t know if it is because people
eat more in the winter or if jobs are harder to find
and they need more help. Whatever the reason,
we find ourselves running low on a few major
items. We are going to ask that you consider
tossing a package of rice or instant potatoes or a
box of macaroni and cheese into your wagon the
next time you are out shopping. Also, we need
peanut butter, cold cereal, canned soup and stew
as they disappear from our shelves at an alarming
rate; they are the perfect food to give to everyone,
especially the homeless.
You do so much in the line of feeding and clothing
the poor, the homeless, the unemployed, the
disabled and the homebound in our parish and we
are grateful. Today we are going to ask one more
thing of you. When you think of it, would you say
a prayer for them as their spirit needs a lift too.

FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK....
Palm Sunday, and the vestments have
changed from the somber violet or purple to the
richness of red, for a brief period of twenty-four
hours. Our Lord’s entry into Jerusalem is met
with joy as the crowds proclaim Him King and
Savior. However, we now know that the
shadow of the Cross and Calvary is ever
present while the people rejoice, laying their
garments and palm branches before Him in a
procession of victory. We should savor this
moment because in five short days, Our Lord
will be beaten, scourged and humiliated as He
experiences another procession toward
Golgotha and death on Good Friday.
Are we prepared to make this journey with Him?

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP FEAST MEETING

On Wednesday, April 3rd at 7:30pm, we will be having
our first Feast meeting in the Outreach Meeting Room.
We need the help of as many people who can give up
just a couple of hours during the Feast or before. There
is a lot to do and the more hands we have, the greater
the success of our Annual Feast dedicated to our
Patroness, Our Lady of the Assumption. To witness the
sense of the whole community working so diligently
together is a special time for us. We are blessed by your
support which has always been overwhelming. So come
on down and see where you can give some help. We
look forward to your joining your fellow parishioners at

Parish Renovation Capital Campaign
Set to begin in April!
Our Lady of the Assumption is pleased to announce
that our parish will begin a Capital Campaign in April.
After many months of planning, consultation and
prayer, we are about to embark on a campaign that is
intended to meet our parish’s need of repairing and
upgrading our Church, Auditorium, School and Rectory
buildings. Over the next few months, all families will
be called upon to make a sacrificial gift in the form of a
pledge, payable over a two-year period.

Nuestra Señora de la Asunción se
complace en anunciar que nuestra
parroquia comenzará en Abril una
Campaña de Capital. Después de muchos
meses de planificación, consultas y oraciones,
estamos a punto de emprender una campaña
que intenta cubrir una necesidad en nuestra
parroquia: Reparar y mejorar nuestra Iglesia,
Auditorio, Escuela y edificio de la Rectoría.
Durante los próximos meses a cada familia le
será solicitado hacer un donativo en forma de
promesa/compromiso, pagadero en un período
de dos años.

COLECTA - TIERRA SANTA
El Viernes Santo (29 de Marzo) nuestra
parroquia tomará la colecta anual para la
Tierra Santa.
PROGRAMA DEL OUTREACH
Las necesidades actuales son las siguientes: Arroz
empacado, puré instantáneo de papas, macaroni con
queso empacado, mantequilla de maní, cereal, sopa
enlatada y estofado de carne. Estos desaparecen de
nuestras alacenas a una velocidad alarmante.
Les pediremos algo más esta vez: Cuando ustedes lo
recuerden, podrían decir una oración por los pobres,
aquellos sin hogar, por los desempleados, los
desabilitados y aquellos confinados en sus hogares, ya
que sus espíritus necesitan un impulso también.

KURS BEZPIECZNEJ JAZDY
Kurs odbędzie się w naszej Parafii Matki Bożej Wniebowziętej w sobotę 6 kwietnia tego roku, w godz. od 8:30
do 15:00, w sali pod kościołem. Koszt kursu wynosi
$45 od osoby (prosimy o wystawianie czeków na naszą
parafię OLA). Zapisy w kancelarii parafialnej.
OCHRONA DZIECI BOŻYCH
Najbliższa sesja Programu Szkoleniowego VIRTUS w
języku polskim odbędzie się w środę 3 kwietnia o godz.

wszyscy wolontariusze parafialni muszą wyrazić zgodę na

CHÓRZE. Ostatnia próba naszego chóru, który śpiewać
będzie podczas uroczystych celebracji Triduum Paschalnego

Parafialna Kampania Remontowa rozpocznie się w
kwietniu. Informujemy Państwa, że w kwietniu rozpocz-
niemy w naszej Parafii Matki Bożej Wniebowziętej Kampanię Remontową. Po wielu miesiącach planowania, konsultacji oraz modlitwy, jesteśmy gotowi do rozpoczęcia kampanii mającej na celu zaspokojenie potrzeb naszych parafian
