Dearly Beloved in Christ!
This is the feast of victory for our God, Alleluia! Easter Sunday is a
beginning, the beginning of a new and unspeakable joy for all of us!
On Easter morning Jesus appeared to the Apostles to share with
them His triumph over death. Jesus tried to put the Apostles at ease
by His words of comfort, “Peace be with you!” When Jesus said
these words, the Apostles realized what love really means. The
Risen Christ comes after you today and every day with that same
unconditional love.
The Lord, Jesus knew how to give out of His abundance by giving
His life so that we might have life in abundance! Thank you for your
continued participation in the life of St. Mary of Czestochowa Parish!
Let us continue to be zealous in our prayer and worship. Let us be
sincere in our love for the Risen Christ and for one another. Thank
you for your consistent monetary offerings to support our parish life
and let us be eager to continue to respond to the needs of our parish
church.
In order to continue to meet the rising costs of our utilities, necessary
repairs and basic needs, we ask that you remember your parish with
a generous Easter offering. As St. Paul states in 2Corinthians 9:8,
“And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance
that by having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in
every good work.”
May God grant you and your family, and all of us, a Blessed Holy
Week, and a holy and joy-filled Easter!

STEWARDSHIP AWARENESS
PROGRAM
THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS
Jesus is the supreme teacher of
Christian stewardship, as he is of
every other aspect of Christian life;
and in Jesus’ teaching and life, selfemptying is fundamental. Now, it
might seem that self-emptying has
little to do with stewardship, but in Jesus’ case that is not so.
His self-emptying is not sterile self denial for its own sake;
rather , in setting aside self, he is filled with the Father’s will,
and he is fulfilled in just this way: “My food is to do the will of
the one who sent me and to finish his work.: (John 4:34.)
In describing the resulting way of life, Jesus does not
waste time proposing lofty but unrealistic ideals; he tells his
followers how they are expected to live.

please read in Scripture - Matthew, Chapter 5 verses 1-16.

Communal Anointing of the Sick
On Saturday, April 22nd, the eve of
DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY, our parish will celebrate a Communal
Anointing of the Sick during the 5PM
Mass. The message of mercy is that
God loves us – all of us - He wants
us to call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others.
Through this sacrament of Anointing, the Church supports the sick in their struggle against illness and continues Christ’s work of healing. Please inform your
family members and your friends (and even yourself) ,
that would like to receive this holy sacrament, to the
5pm Mass on Saturday, April 22nd. We kindly ask that
you occupy the front pews on either side of the church
in order to participate in the anointing ceremony.

ATTENTION: ALL CANDIDATES FOR
CONFIRMATION
On Saturday, April 29, 2006 there will be a
rehearsal for all students from St. Mary of
Czestochowa School and the CCD Program that are preparing to receive the
sacrament of Confirmation. They are to
meet in the school hall at 2:30PM. The rehearsal will
begin at 3:00PM in the church. After the rehearsal, a
Presentation of the Confirmation candidates will take
place at the 5:00 PM liturgy. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered for Confirmation candidates and
their sponsors following the Mass. IT IS MANDATORY
THAT ALL CANDIDATES AND THEIR SPONSORS ARE
PRESENT FOR THE REHEARSAL AND THE LITURGY.
PARISH STEWARDSHIP RETREAT
As part of our STEWARDSHIP AWARENESS PROGRAM, we are inviting all parishioners who can, to participate in a STEWARDSHIP RETREAT on Saturday, April
29th. This retreat will be held in Makuch Hall from 8:30AM
to around 2:00PM. Anne Marie Tirpak from the Archdiocesan Department of Stewardship and Development will
conduct the retreat. Please complete the registration form
on the next page if you are able to participate in the Stewardship Retreat. It is our hope that there will be many
participants! Please reserve the date!

annual Bake Sale and Raffle a huge success!
We collected over $1,000!! A list of lucky winners is posted on the bulletin board in back of
the church.
Our next meeting will be this coming Wednesday, April 19th at
7PM. Ladies, get ready for the “Goodwill Games!” We’ll have a
raffle and play bingo -- proceeds of which will assist a needy
parish family. Want a bingo partner? Bring a friend! Also, please
bring: 1) a food raffle item; 2) a $1 bingo prize (unwrapped); and

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
The next session of Religious Education
classes will take place on Saturday, April
22, 2006 in the school. Classes will begin
at 8AM.
CHRIST IS RISEN!
Can’t you just imagine that conversation that
God had with Jesus on that first Easter? So
often we think about what God wants to say
to us, but today let’s think about the joy and
accolades that the Father gave to Jesus.
“My Son, You are coming back to me. How I
long to embrace You and clothe You in glory
once more. You have defeated sin, and once more You can
see me in my fullness. We are no longer separated! You are
leaving those You have loved with and everlasting love, but
each of them will join You one day in the kingdom, where the
angels will dance and the elders will bow down in worship. That
day is coming, Son, when we all will be together.”
“O my people, see the victory my Son has gained for you.
Come join in the celebration feast. You were lost but are now
found. You were blind but now can see. Come now, and share
in our love!”
“Dear Jesus, we love you! Thank you for your gift of eternal life.
You have made it possible for us to return to the Father and to
know his love intimately. Who are we that you should love us
so much? No less than your very own children. All praise and
glory to you now and forever!”

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
In a decree dated May 23, 2000 the Congregation of Divine Worship stated that
“throughout the world the Second Sunday
of Easter will receive the name “DIVINE
MERCY SUNDAY.” The message of Divine Mercy is that God loves us - all of us
- no matter how great our sins. He wants
us to recognize that His mercy is greater
than our sins, so that we will call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. Thus,
all will come to share His joy. It is a message we can call
to mind simply by remembering “ABC.”
A - ASK for His Mercy. God wants us to approach Him in
prayer constantly, repenting of our sins and asking Him to
pour His mercy out upon us and upon the whole world.
B - BE merciful. God wants us to receive His mercy and
let it flow through us to others. He wants us to extend love
and forgiveness to others just as He does to us.
C - COMPLETELY trust in Jesus. God wants us to know
that the graces of His mercy are dependent upon our
trust. The more we trust in Jesus, the more we will receive.
Everyone is invited to celebrate DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
with us next Sunday, April 23, 2006. Our celebration of
this great feast will begin at 3:00pm.

ESTE ES EL DIA QUE ACTUÓ EL SEÑOR: SEA NUESTRA ALEGRÍA Y NUESTRO GOZO, ALELUYA
¡Queridos Hermanos En Cristo!
Pascua es la celebración de Victoria de nuestro Señor, Aleluya!
El día de Resurrección es el comienzo de una inmensa alegría
para todos nosotros. El Domingo de Resurrección, Jesús se
les apareció a los Apóstoles para compartir su triunfo sobre la
muerte. Jesús trató de tranquilizar a los Apóstoles con sus
palabras de aliento, “La Paz con Ustedes!” Cuando Jesús
pronuncio estas palabras los Apóstoles se dieron cuenta lo que
significa el amor. Cristo Resucito y viene a ti hoy y todos los
días con ese amor incondicional.
El Señor Jesús, supo como dar en abundancia al ofrecernos su
vida, para que nosotros disfrutáramos la vida en plenitud.
Muchas gracias por su continua participación en la vida de St.
Maria de Czestochowa. Continuemos con fervor adorando y
rezando. Seamos sinceros en nuestro amor hacia Dios Resucitado y para con la humanidad. Gracias por su constante ayuda monetaria y continúen apoyando en las necesidades de la
Parroquia.
Para poder cubrir los grandes costos de las utilidades, las
reparaciones y necesidades básicas, les pedimos que recuerden a su parroquia con una donación generosa el día de Resurrección. Como dijo San Pablo en la segunda Carta a los Corintios capitulo 9 versículo 8: “Y poderoso es Dios para colmaros de toda gracia a fin de que teniendo, siempre y en todo,
todo lo necesario, tengáis aún sobrante para toda obra buena”

La Celebración comunitaria
de la unción de los enfermos.
El sábado 22 de abril, en las vísperas de Domingo de
la Divina Misericordia, en nuestra parroquia habrá la
celebración comunitaria de la unción de los enfermos
durante la Masa a horas 5PM. Con este sacramento
de la Unción de los Enfermos, el enfermo recibirá
fuerza de Dios en su lucha contra enfermedad. Por
favor informe a sus enfermos familiares o sus amigos
para que puedan participar en esta celebración. También le pedimos
para que faciliten la llegada de los enfermos a nuestra iglesia parroquial.
Como parte de nuestro PROGRAMA del CORRESPONSABILIDAD (STEWARDSHIP), estamos invitando a todos los feligreses
A participar en Retiro de profundización de este tema el día sábado, 29 de Abril. Este retiro será llevado a cabo en Makuch Hall a
partir del 8:30AM hasta 2:00PM. Los que participarán en el retiro
aprenderán más sobre el programa de corresponsabilidad que
estamos iniciando en nuestra parroquia. Llene el formulario de

Bienvenidas, Consuelo González y Gabriela Díaz,
las dos nuevas recepcionistas que van a trabajar en la
oficina de la rectoría. De nuestra parte prometemos a
Uds. nuestro apoyo y nuestras oraciones. Deseamos a

El costo de ser Discípulo
El camino del discípulo es más privilegiado que todos los demás.
Jesús dice: "Vine para que tenga vida y sean colmados" (Jn 10:10).
Pero ser discípulo no es fácil. "Si alguno quiere seguirme," Jesús nos
dice también, "que se niegue a sí mismo, que cargue con su cruz de
cada día y me siga. El que quiera ase-gurar su vida la perderá, el
que pierda su vida por causa mía, la asegurará" (Le 9:23-24).
El camino del Señor no es el camino de la comodidad o de la "gracia
barata". Para entender y practicar este modo de vida, la gente necesita modelos que imitar. Estos existen en abun-dancia en las santas
y santos que nos han precedido en la fe; en tanto que la fuente
suprema de nuestra guía se encuentra en la persona y en las enseñanzas de Jesús. Reflexionemos en lo que él nos dice sobre la
corresponsabilidad.
Invitamos a participar en la Fiesta de la Divina Misericordia el
día 23 de Abril. La central celebración empezará a horas 3 de la
tarde con la Coronilla a la Divina
Misericordia, después la Misa
con la procesión alrededor de
nuestra cuadra. Después de las
celebraciones el Ministerio Hispano invita a salón Makuch a
compartir la comida preparada para este acontecimiento. Por favor vengan en los trajes típicos.
¡Gracias a cada uno que ayudó en la venta de postres, café y
en la rifa! La venta y rifa fue un éxito enorme. ¡Recogimos
$1.000!! La lista de ganadores afortunados encontrarán en
el tablón de anuncios en la entrada de la iglesia.
ATENCIÓN:
TODOS LOS CANDIDATOS A LA CONFIRMACIÓN
El Sábado, 29 de abril de 2006 habrá un ensayo para todos los
estudiantes de nuestra escuela de Santa Maria de Czestochowa y
el CCD programa que se están preparando para recibir el sacramento de la confirmación. Deben presentarse en el salón de esuela a horas 2:30PM. El ensayo comenzará en los 3:00PM en la
iglesia. Después del ensayo a horas 5:00 P.M. habrá la Misa. El
sacramento de la reconciliación será ofrecido para los candidatos
de la confirmación y sus padrinos que asisten la Masa. ES OBLIGATORIO QUE TODOS LOS CANDIDATOS Y SUS PADRINOS ESTÁN PRESENTES PARA EL ENSAYO Y LA LITURGIA.
Las próximas clases de catequesis se realizaran el
Sábado 22 de Abril a las 8:00 AM.
Campamento de verano
en el Centro Social de nuestra parroquia.
Si ustedes están trabajando como padres y
están buscando un lugar seguro donde su
niño puede ser cuidado durante los meses
del verano, considere por favor a anotarse a
esta programa de campo de varano en
nuestra parroquia. Usted puede hacerlo después de cualquier
Misa este fin de semana. El registro para el campamento de
verano será tomado después de cada Misa los fines de semana
hasta de 27 de Mayo de 2006.

Ukochani w Chrystusie Panu!
Wielkanoc jest świętem zwycięstwa Chrystusa, Alleluja!
Niedziela Wielkanocna jest początkiem nowej i niewypowiedzianej radości dla wszystkich z nas! Wielkanocnego
poranka Chrystus ukazał się Apostołom, aby uczestniczyli w z nim w Jego triumfie nad śmiercią. Jezus wlał w
serca Apostołów pokój poprzez Jego słowa niosące pociechę: “Pokój jest z Wami”. Kiedy Jezus powiedział te
słowa, Apostołowie zrozumieli czym naprawdę jest miłość. Zmartwychwstały Chrystus staje przed tobą dzisiaj i
codziennie z tą samą bezwarunkową miłością.
Pan Jezus wiedział, że przez bezgraniczne oddanie swego życia sprawi obdarzy nas życiem w obfitości. Dziękujemy za Twój nieprzerwany udział w życiu Parafii Matki
Bożej Częstochowskiej! Nadal bądźmy gorliwi w naszej
modlitwie i czci. Bądźmy szczerzy w naszej miłości do
Zmartwychwstałego Chrystusa i dla siebie nawzajem.
Dziękujemy za Twoje konsekwentne ofiary materialne,
aby wspierać naszą parafię i nadal odpowiadać na potrzeby naszego kościoła parafialnego.
Aby sprostać i pokryć podnoszące się koszty utrzymania,
konieczne naprawy i podstawowe potrzeby naszej parafii, prosimy Was abyście pamiętali o niej składając hojną

Informujemy, że do 27 maja tego roku można zapisywać dzieci uczęszczające do szkoły podstawowej
