XIII Sunday
W świetle wiary można
spożytkować każde cierpienie,
można uczynić je twórczym.
Wtedy też można mówić, że
cierpienie jest łaską. W
świetle krzyża można przyjąć
ciemność cierpienia, a wtedy i
ciemność stanie się jasnością.
W tym doświadczeniu
przychodzi Chrystus w swoim
Kościele z darem sakramentu
chorych. Nie jest to sakrament
umierających, czy też już
umarłych, ale sakrament chorych. Poprzez dar tego sakramentu
cierpienie złączone zostaje ze zbawczą Męką, Śmiercią i
Zmartwychwstaniem Chrystusa! Przyzywając mocy Chrystusa
Zmartwychwstałego, Kościół wypowiada słowa: Przez to święte
namaszczenie niech Pan w swoim nieskończonym miłosierdziu
wspomoże ciebie łaską Ducha Świętego. Amen. Pan, który
odpuszcza ci grzechy, niech cię wybawi i łaskawie podźwignie.
Amen. Tak zjednoczony z Chrystusem, za św. Pawłem mogę
wtedy powtórzyć: Teraz raduję się w cierpieniach za was i ze swej
strony w moim ciele dopełniam braki udręk Chrystusa dla dobra
Jego ciała, którym jest Kościół.
Do you approach the Lord with expectant faith? People
in desperate or helpless circumstances were not
disappointed when they sought Jesus out. What drew
them to Jesus? Was it hope for a miracle or a word of
comfort in their affliction? What did the elderly woman
who had suffered greatly for twelve years expect Jesus to
do for her? And what did a grieving father expect Jesus
to do about his lost beloved daughter? Jesus gave hope
where there seemed to be no human cause for it because
his hope was directed to God. He spoke words of hope to
the woman (Take heart, daughter!) to ignite the spark of
faith in her (your faith has made you well!). A 4th
century church father, Ephrem the Syrian, comments on
this miracle: Glory to you, hidden Son of God, because your healing
power is proclaimed through the hidden suffering of the afflicted
woman. Through this woman whom they could see, the witnesses
were enabled to behold the divinity that cannot be seen. Through
the Son’s own healing power his divinity became known. Through
the afflicted women’s being healed her faith was made
manifest. She caused him to be proclaimed, and indeed was
honored with him. For truth was being proclaimed together with
hits heralds. If she was a witness to his divinity, he in turn was a
witness to her faith. ..He saw through to her hidden faith, and gave
her a visible healing.

Retransmitowany jest serwis informacyjny Radia Watykańskiego.
Transmitowane są też wszystkie pielgrzymki papieskie oraz
cotygodniowa modlitwa Anioł Pański. Wspólnota słuchaczy i
osób identyfikujących się z poglądami prezentowanymi w Radiu
Maryja tworzy Rodzinę Radia Maryja.

directed by Father Tadeusz
Rydzyk. The name Maryja is
an archaic form of the name
Mary, referring to Mary,
Mother of Jesus. The station
frequently claims that it has
millions of listeners. The
audience peaked in 1998 and was estimated to 2 million listeners.
Today, the station claims that it is listened by well over 10% of
adults in Poland.
