The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland announces its 17th Intensive Music
Course and Festival FROM CHOPIN TO GÓRECKI – Sources and Inspirations.
The Chopin – Górecki Music Festival consists of private instruction by acclaimed international
artists, master classes, concerts, a lecture and excursion in Poland.
Currently in its seventeenth year, the Chopin – Górecki Music Festival has evoked the interest
of serious musicians world-wide who are excited by the unique opportunity of experiencing
first-hand Chopin’s unforgettable homeland.
Participants will be surrounded by the same inspiration that captured the hearts and souls of
great Polish composers from Chopin to Górecki. We will visit the birthplace and house of
Fryderyk Chopin and experience the rich, Polish folk tradition.

Orientation meeting – 25 July, 18.00 hrs
Lessons, master classes, lecture, dance workshop and excursion 26 July – 1 August
Final concert of participants 1 August, 17.00 hrs
Departures of participants: 2 August
TUITION FEE:
Active participants – 500 Euro which covers lessons, practice rooms, concerts, workshop and
excursion
Non-active participants – 200 Euro which covers participation in all events as an observer
We offer a discount for groups of over 10 active participants
