Meeting was attended by: Krzysztof Damaziak – Military University of Technology Krzysztof Jóźwik – Lodz University of Technology Maciej Karczewski – Lodz University of Technology Hamid Reza Karimi – University of Agder Jerzy Małachowski – Military University of Technology Krzysztof Sobczak – Lodz University of Technology Topic #1 Introduction Introduction was made by project leader – Jerzy Małachowski. Topic #2 Application for next advance payment Krzysztof Damaziak presented the progress of work on the proposal for a second advance. Major problems were pointed out. Suggestions for their solution were provided and discussed.. Topic #3 Results of 2D CFD simulations of “small” prototype Krzysztof Sobczak presented results of CFD study that led to determination of parameters of the first, "small", SWT prototype to be used in wind tunnel tests. Topic #4 Results of preliminary CFD simulations of SWT Krzysztof Sobczak presented results of CFD study of full-scale SWT. Followed Maciej Karczewski showed approximate SWT costs analysis of two different aero layouts, which were previously chosen to be “the final two”. Topic #5 Overview of the small wind turbines Maciej Karczewski presented progress of preparation to wind tunnel tests and geometry of “small” SWT model. Topic #5 Overview of the small wind turbines Hamid Karimi presented review of literature on conversion system and first, preliminary, simulations of control system. Topic #7 Future steps The following part of the meeting was devoted to the future steps on SWT models preparation, including time schedule and tasks division. Meeting adjourned at 16:05.
