Quality versus reliability, basic terms and models used for reliability evaluation, relationship between availability and reliability. 2. Repairable and non-repairable systems, lifetime distribution models. 3. Reliability function, failure rate ,”bathtub” curve. 4. Characteristics of the Weibull and Eyring distributions. 5.
