Erasmus Incoming Students 2013/2014
Basic Information
Erasmus students have to be nominated by their home university.
There has to be a valid bilateral agreement between the University of Warsaw (UW) and the student’s home
university within the framework of the LLP Erasmus http://www.bwz.uw.edu.pl/en/?page_id=53
Please note that every faculty/unit of the University of Warsaw considers the applications case by case and
decides whether to accept the student based on his/her application documents.
1. On-line Application Form
Submitting the on-line Application Form http://www.mobility.uw.edu.pl
is obligatory. The first time the website is accessed a new account should be created.
In the Personal Information section the correct Permanent Address in the required format has to be
provided as it will appear on your UW Electronic Student Card and will be used in all the future
correspondence.
2. Necessary Documents
The online Application Form should be printed and signed by the student and the Erasmus Coordinator at
the student’s home institution.
The following documents should be sent together with the Application Form to the International Relations
Office of the University of Warsaw by post:
Transcript of Records from studies so far or the last achieved diploma
Language Certificate proving the knowledge of the language in which the student wishes to study at the
University of Warsaw.
In case the student does not have any internationally recognized language certificate the following form

Electronic Photo - Every Erasmus student will receive an Electronic Student Card and therefore each
student is asked to provide us with an electronic version of his/her photo. It can be uploaded in the online
application or sent by email.

3. Application Deadlines
First semester and the whole academic year – May 15th, 2013
Second semester– November 15th, 2013
Applications submitted after the deadlines may be subject to rejection!

Please note that the IRO UW will not be able to confirm study periods other than the ones indicated in the
academic calendar (with the exception of PhD students).
5. Courses
The University of Warsaw course offer is available at www.informatorects.uw.edu.pl or at
http://usosweb.dak.uw/edu.pl . It is being updated on a regular basis.
Please note that courses are subject to change and/or cancellation.
6. ECTS Points
Each student is allowed to take courses worth 30 ECTS per semester (60 ECTS for the whole academic
year). Permission to take additional ECTS may be granted by the Vice Rector in special cases.

8. Language Requirements
Incoming Erasmus students must
have
at
least
a
B2
level
or
English
and/or
Polish

Students coming to the University of Warsaw to study languages have to have at least a B2 level of the
language that they are going to study.
9. Accommodation
The University of Warsaw has a very limited number of places in student houses available for Erasmus
students. Places in student houses will be assigned based on the order of receiving the Application
Documents. The International Relations Office will do its best to help students find accommodation.
10. Learning Agreement
Every incoming Erasmus student must provide the University of Warsaw with his/her Learning Agreement,
which has to be signed by the Erasmus coordinator at the student’s home university. It is possible to make
changes to the Learning Agreement after the start of the semester.

11. Erasmus Student Network University of Warsaw (ESN UW)
ESN is a student organization that supports student mobility. It works to improve (the social and practical)
integration of exchange students. It offers the Mentor and Tandem programmes, organizes trips, parties
and events for international and local students. For more information go to www.uw.esn.pl
All incoming students are strongly encouraged to take part in the Mentor program.

Studenci programu Erasmus 2013/2014
Studenci programu Erasmus muszą być nominowani przez swoją uczelnię macierzystą. Pomiędzy
Uniwersytetem Warszawskim (UW) i uczelnią macierzystą studenta powinna być podpisana aktualna
umowa w ramach programu LLP Erasmus http://www.bwz.uw.edu.pl/en/?page_id=53
Każdy wydział/ jednostka Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego rozpatruje wnioski indywidualnie i decyduje o
przyjęciu studenta na podstawie jego dokumentów.
1. Formularz aplikacyjny on-line
Wypełnienie formularza aplikacyjnego na stronie http://www.mobility.uw.edu.pl
jest obowiązkowe. Przy pierwszym logowaniu należy utworzyć nowe konto i dalej postępować zgodnie z
instrukcjami.
Szczególnie istotne jest poprawne wprowadzenie danych osobowych, zwłaszcza adresu zameldowania,
który później pojawi się na elektronicznej legitymacji studenckiej UW i będzie używany do korespondencji
ze studentem.
2. Wymagane dokumenty
- Formularz aplikacyjny on-line należy wydrukować, podpisać i uzyskać podpis koordynatora programu
Erasmus z uczelni macierzystej.
- Karta przebiegu studiów (Transcript of Records) z dotychczasowego okresu studiów lub ostatni
otrzymany dyplom;
- Certyfikat językowy (Language Certificate) potwierdzający znajomość języka polskiego i/ lub
angielskiego.
W przypadku braku powszechnie uznawalnego certyfikatu językowego można wykorzystać formularz UW
znajdujący się na stronie:

Zdjęcie (w wersji elektronicznej) – każdy student programu Erasmus otrzyma elektroniczną legitymację
studencką. Konieczna jest do tego elektroniczna wersja zdjęcia, którą można załączyć do aplikacji on-line
lub przesłać za pośrednictwem poczty elektronicznej na adres: [email protected]

3. Terminy składania wniosków
Pierwszy semestr lub cały rok – do 15 maja 2013
Drugi semestr – do 15 listopada 2013
Wnioski składane po terminie mogą zostać odrzucone.

Biuro Współpracy z Zagranicą może potwierdzić pobyt tylko w datach trwania semestru (wyjątek stanowią
studenci studiów doktoranckich).
5. Przedmioty
Katalog przedmiotów oferowanych przez Uniwersytet Warszawski dostępny jest na stronie:

aktualizowana.
Uwaga! Niektóre przedmioty mogą zostać zmienione lub wycofane z oferty w danym roku akademickim.

7. Punkty ECTS
Każdy student ma prawo uczęszczać na przedmioty za maksymalnie 30 punktów ECTS w semestrze (60
punktów ECTS na rok akademicki). W wyjątkowych sytuacjach Prorektor ds. Studentów i Jakości Kształcenia
może wydać zgodę na zwiększenie liczby punktów ECTS.
8. Wymagania językowe
Studenci przyjeżdżający na Uniwersytet Warszawski w ramach programu Erasmus muszą władać językiem
angielskim
lub/oraz
polskim
przynajmniej
na
poziomie
B2

Studenci przyjeżdżający na UW na kierunki językowe/filologiczne muszą legitymować się znajomością
języka, który będą studiować na poziomie B2.
9. Zakwaterowanie
Uniwersytet Warszawski dysponuje bardzo ograniczoną liczbą miejsc w akademikach. Miejsca przydzielane
są na podstawie kolejności składania dokumentów aplikacyjnych. Biuro Współpracy z Zagranicą dokłada
wszelkich starań, aby pomóc studentom, którzy nie otrzymali miejsca w akademiku w znalezieniu innego
zakwaterowania.
10. Porozumienie o programie zajęć (Learning Agrement)
Każdy student przyjeżdżający w ramach programu Erasmus powinien przedstawić porozumienie o
programie zajęć (Learning Agreement) podpisane przez koordynatora programu Erasmus na uczelni
macierzystej przed rozpoczęciem studiów na UW. Możliwe są zmiany porozumienia po rozpoczęciu
semestru.

11. Erasmus Student Network Uniwersytet Warszawski (ESN UW)
ESN to organizacja studencka wspomagająca mobilność studentów. Zajmuje się integracją studentów
zagranicznych biorących udział w wymianie. Szczególnie godne polecenia są prowadzone przez ESN
programy Mentor i Tandem.
