To continue teaching the students Swedish, so that they become increasingly more able to function in a
Swedish speaking environment, now also using specialist language appropriate to their particular course of
studies.

Subject contents
Students learn:
- complex grammatical structures ( proper adjective-noun compliance in the definite singular and plural)
allowing them to accurately describe people and objects;
- the past tense to be able to describe past situations and events;
- the structure and syntax of complex subordinate sentences;
- elements of specialist language appropriate to the student’s particular course of studies and used in
various forms of expression;
- to read various kinds of texts, such as articles, stories, reviews, emails, CVs, motivation letters and on
their basis write their own texts in a similar manner;
- listen to various radio messages, such as weather forecasts or news summaries, and on this basis write
their own summaries regarding current events;
- consolidate all their acquired language skills and cultural competencies for the eventuality of staying in
Sweden (to study there or pay a private visit).
