Zakłady Graficzne Dom Słowa Polskiego S.A. is a publishing company
and the object of its activity is printing books, newspapers, magazines
and job-works. The Company also deals with leasing property for its own
account. It has been operating on domestic publishing market for more
than 50 years. For the printing production it uses a modern PlatteRitte
8600 system consisting in the direct CtP offset plate exposure.
The Company’s machinery park includes a Japanese Komori Lithrone
S540 printing machine, a 5-colour B1-format machine allowing to
create prints on 60-300 g/m2 papers in the maximum printing format
of 710 mm x 1020 mm at the speed of 15 000 sheets per hour and
connected via network with the CtP prepress room (CIP 3). The Company
has also a Müller Martini gatherer-stitcher for flexible binding with an
option to stitch or to glue only – for the formats ranging from A6 to A3
with 4-60 mm block thickness.
The main customers of the Company’s printing services are: Agencja
Wydawnicza “Technopol” Sp. z o.o., “Słowo Niezależne” Publishing
House and “Bellona” S.A. Zakłady Graficzne Dom Słowa Polskiego S.A.
exploits and area of 4 hectares under perpetual usufruct. It also has
usable spaces intended for lease.

PLANNED PRIVATISATION
The Treasury holds 100% of the Company’s shares. In 2010, the Ministry
of Treasury plans to sell 85% of the Company’s shares by means of negotiations
undertaken on the basis of a public invitation. The remaining 15% of the
shares will be transferred to the employees.
