Raport Roczny 2005 Annual Report Global Reports LLC Jest to pierwsza referencja spółki w kraju Europy Zachodniej. W samej spółce liczba zatrudnionych wzrosła do ponad 600 osób – to prawie dwa razy więcej pracowników niż rok temu. Ponadto nasze systemy – Egzekutor (wdrażany m.in. w ING Banku Śląskim) oraz System Monitorowania Obrotu Gotówkowego (wdrażany w banku Pekao SA) otrzymały nagrody i wyróżnienia. Serdecznie zapraszam do lektury Raportu Rocznego. Raport Roczny 2005 Annual Report Global Reports LLC 37 Letter from the President Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Please let me present you the Annual Report of Softbank for 2005. It has been a year of many changes in our Company – with regard to both the operations and image of our Company and Capital Group, as in September 2005 we introduced a new system of visual identification. Softbank received a new logo, symbolising the new philosophy of company operations, based mainly on partnership and consulting. Softbank ceased to be a company with operations limited to the sale of off-the-shelf infrastructure and IT systems. We have become an organisation which sells knowledge and shares experiences with clients. Hence, our business name was extended with the word “partner” to better reflect the new nature of our operations. However, the year 2005 was also rich in other events, of equal importance to the Company. A very successful stock issue enabled us to enlarge the capacity of our Capital Group with IT companies Koma SA and Incenti SA, and the Gladstone Consulting Ltd. consulting company. In consequence, the Capital Group companies employ over 1000 persons, including 700 top class IT specialists. The Company now employs over 600 persons – which is nearly twice the last year’s employment figure. To effectively meet global competition and continue to improve the organization, we also introduced considerable internal changes to the Company’s internal structures, such as, inter alia, information security policy, management by objectives and project-oriented organisational structure. 38 Moreover, the year 2005 turned out to be very good to the Company financially. In consecutive quarters of the year we continued to generate exquisite financial performance figures, with our stocks reaching the level of PLN 40, highest since 2001. We also continued with success and expanded our largest projects – the implementation of the Integrated IT system for PKO BP SA and the implementation of the IT system for the Central Record of Vehicles and Drivers CEPiK at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration (MSWiA). Moreover, our systems, such as Egzekutor (implemented, inter alia, at ING Bank Śląski) and Cash Transactions Monitoring System (implemented at Bank Pekao SA) received awards and distinctions. In the course of the coming year the Company’s operations will focus mainly on the financial and banking sector and on the public administration sector. The Company will continue to invest in the key operational areas only. Softbank will continue to achieve its strategic objective, i.e. winning a leading position in the banking and financial sector. I sincerely hope that the changes in the Company will allow our clients, investors and partners to perceive Softbank as a sophisticated, dynamic and trustworthy company. Please let me kindly invite you to read the Annual Report. Sincerely, Krzysztof Korba President of the Management Board Raport Roczny 2005 Annual Report 39 Introduction Mission of Softbank Softbank is optimising the business processes of its clients, implementing complex IT projects with the highest quality possible.
