Once upon a time, there was a classroom full of energetic and happy pupils, who no matter what their background, no
matter what their ability, all enjoyed learning English. They loved their classes, and were thrilled when their teacher
included the magic of stories, DVDs, Disney characters and exciting activities in the lessons. The teacher was rather
happy too, as s/he could see quite clearly how beneficial such ingredients could be to successful learning, and how in
turn the right contexts and activities could have a positive effect on smooth and effective classroom
management. The teacher was even more thrilled to discover that a new edition of Pearson’s famous English
Adventure course had been making all this possible. Is this all a fairytale? No, it’s reality, and this highly practical
workshop will show just how real it all can be in YOUR classroom!

sprawdzianie szóstoklasisty. W związku z tym chcielibysmy przedstawić Państwu najnowszą publikację z
serii bestsellerowych repetytoriów Longmana wraz z cennymi wskazówkami jak najefektywniej przygotowywać
uczniów do sprawdzianu.

We’re All Different… Catering for the Varying Needs of the Upper Primary
Classroom, Rob Dean (sesja dla nauczycieli klas 4-6 szkoły podstawowej)
Pupils of different ages, who work at different rates, with different levels of ability, experiencing different learning issues,
and from different social backgrounds – all in the same class!!! One thing is the same though – all want, need and
deserve success. There are times when all this can be overwhelming for many of us, so this workshop will consider a
number of ways in which we may be able to deal with this challenging yet increasingly common situation. With the need
for developing communication skills along with preparation for the new sprawdzian szóstoklasisty test at its centre,
the session will show practical approaches and activities aimed at ensuring a successful learning experience for
everyone. The workshop will feature material from Pearson’s brand new upper primary course Today, whose structure
and content have been developed to tackle the issues of dealing with learner differences.
