Front-end Developer

Fagbokforlaget is a Norwegian independent publisher.
We develop and distribute knowledge for use in teaching
and professional growth for nursery, primary, secondary,
adult and higher education, as well as a number of
journals. Fagbokforlaget has 150 employees and is
headquartered in Bergen, with offices in Oslo and Sopot.
We have the following vacancy available at our department in Sopot:
Front-end Developer
We are looking for a Front-end Developer in house at VB Polska / Fagbokforlaget V&B AS,
Sopot, Poland.
Required:
• Portfolio of work that demonstrates an ability to build and maintain responsive websites
• Hands-on experience with HTML5 and CSS3 and upcoming standards (incl. mobile

platforms)
Strong working knowledge of vanilla JavaScript and libraries such as jQuery
Solid understanding of cross-browser testing and best practices
Very good English (written and oral)
Minimum 3 years professional experience building front-end web experiences
Desired:
• Experience working with Adobe software (especially Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Good visual design sense and understanding of basic usability concepts
• Ability to collaborate with designers, backend developers and client services
• Excellent organizational skills (ability to prioritize while working on multiple projects)
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
