We develop and distribute knowledge for use in teaching
and professional growth for nursery, primary, secondary,
adult and higher education, as well as a number of
journals. Fagbokforlaget has 150 employees and is
headquartered in Bergen, with offices in Oslo and Sopot.
We have the following vacancy available at our department in Sopot:
QA Tester
Responsibilities
• Exploratory Testing of web and mobile applications
• Participate in planning meetings to know what is expected from the completed product
• Write and execute test plans and test cases
• Work together with developers and project management to design tests during development
• Automate designed tests
• File bugs to the software engineering team
• Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of
the development process
Required qualifications
• Proven track record in and knowledge of core QA techniques
• Ability to write and execute test plans and test cases
• Good command of English
• Ability to work independent and initiate test phases when necessary
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with testing iOS and Android apps
• Ability to automate execution of test cases
• Software QA automation experience working with the following technologies: PHP, CSS,
HTML, Java, Java Script, Ruby, PERL, etc.
• Norwegian language skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
