Characteristics:
FTALUR varnish is urethane alkyd resin solution in organic solvents, with additives. It
dries in ambient temperature. FTALUR varnish should be thinned with a thinner for
alkyd electro-insulating varnishes.
Recommended use:
FTALUR varnish is designed for protective coating the winding of electrical appliances
against biological erosion (fungi, bacteria). The varnish can be also used for
impregnation of the winding not exposed to heavy centrifugal forces. It can be used for
impregnating electrical engines, small transformers, etc.
Impregnation:
By dip coating, brush or spray application. At least 2-layer application is
recommended. The next layer can be applied after at least 20 h /at temp. 20oC/ from
the application of the previous layer. The curing time may be shortened by means of
drying at 60÷70oC. depending on the application method, the following viscosity is
used (at 20oC acc. to Ford cup ∅ 4mm):

Curing time::
Up to 48 h in the room temperature, the curing period can be shortened by heating in
a drier to the temperature 60-70 oC.

Przechowywanie:
Lakier FTALUR należy przechowywać w szczelnie zamkniętych opakowaniach
i składować w krytych, przewiewnych magazynach o sprawnie działającej wentylacji,
w temperaturze 5-35oC.
Okres gwarancji:
6 miesięcy od daty produkcji przy spełnieniu powyższych wymagań w zakresie
warunków przechowywania.Występujący w tym okresie wzrost lepkości powinien
ustąpić po dodaniu 5% rozpuszczalnika do lakierów ftalowych elektroizolacyjnych
o symbolu: 233847.
Informacje BHP:
Pomieszczenia, w których znajduje się lakier powinny być wentylowane. Należy
unikać kontaktu wyrobu ze skórą. W przypadku kontaktu ze skórą zmyć ją wodą
z mydłem. W razie dostania się lakieru do oczu należy natychmiast spłukać je dużą
ilością wody i skontaktować się z lekarzem. Zaleca się stosowanie okularów i odzieży
ochronnej.
