POLFILL – ACRYLIC CLEARCOAT SUPERIOR 2K HS 2:1
Product for professional use only
Characteristic:
This is a high solid acrylic clear coat for car repairs. It is very easy in application, fast drying and high gloss. It can be
applied directly over the base layer 15-20 minutes after solvent evaporation. Its hardness, UV resistance and resistance
to all climatic conditions ensure a good appearance and stable layer. It is available in two versions: with “standard”
hardener or “fast” hardener, depending on the conditions of use.

Polfill – Thinner for acrylic products 5 – 10%
Mix thoroughly clearcoat, hardener and thinner for acrylic products until a uniform consistency is obtained.
Observe the required amount of hardener.
Spray viscosity:
without dilution 18 - 19 s DIN 4/20°C
after dilution 15 - 16 s DIN 4/20°C
Application:
Apply with a spray gun with nozzle diameter 1,3 – 1,4 mm
at the air pressure 2,0 – 2,5 bar.
Number of layers: 1,5 – 2
Pot life:
1 hour at 20°C using Normal hardener
Flash of time between layers: 10 - 12 minutes at 20°C
It is recommended to apply the clearcoat at a temperature above 10°C and a relative air humidity of not
more than 70%.

Dust dry:
30 minutes at 20°C
Operating hardness: 14 hours at 20°C or 25 minutes at 60°C
Full hardness:
4 days
The curing times refer to the temperatures of individual object.
The temperature below 20°C increase hardening time.
Physicochemical properties:
This is a colourless liquid with an aromatic, sweet odour.
The maximum content of VOC for ready to use product is < 840 g/l.
Storage:
Store the product tightly closed in original container, in dry and cool places, away from fire and heat sources
at temperatures from 5°C to 25°C. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Shelf life:
12 months from the date of manufacture
Health & safety recommendations:
Safety Data Sheet and the applicable regulations for health and safety at work involving exposure to chemical factors.
Hardener:
Use only Polfill Normal 1:2 or Polfill Fast 1:2 hardener for acrylic clearcoat Superior.
Equipment cleaning:
Polfill – NITRO thinner, Polfill – Thinner for acrylic products.
