ZŁOTA GÓRA
Situated in the Kashubian Landscape Park at the village of Brodnica Górna,
Złota Góra is a picturesque hill in the very heart of Kashubia. At 190 m above
sea level, the viewpoint at its peak commands a magnificent panoramic view
of the surrounding countryside – with Lake Brodno Wielkie just below the hill
and Lake Ostrzyckie to the right. Beyond the lakes the view stretches to the
distant peaks of Wieżyca, Jastrzębia Góra and Kolańska Huta. On the lake
shore at the foot of the hill a modern water sports centre is presently under
construction. There will be a marina complete with sanitary, storage and
schooling facilities, jetties providing mooring for about 40 yachts, a guarded
beach, and an amphitheatre.
