Kamienna Góra Special Economic Zone for Medium Business (Kamiennogórska Specjalna Strefa
Ekonomiczna Małej Przedsiębiorczości) is located In the south-western part of Poland with direct borders to
the Dolnośląskie and Wielkopolskie Provinces. The Zone is located close to Poland’s national borders with
Germany and the Czech Republic in the vicinity of the A4 and A3 motorways and national roads. Airport
transportation may be provided through the airports in Wrocław, Prague and Dresden. The Kamienna Góra
Special Economic Zone was established in 1994 and will last till December 2026. Locating new investment in the
zone gives the right to take advantage of the public aid in amounts up to 60% of investment outlays. The Zone
covers a total area of 367,14 ha in the subzones: Kamienna Góra, Lubawka, Piechowice, Janowice Wielkie,
Jelenia Góra, Nowogrodziec, Lubań, Jawor, Prusice, Żmigród, Ostrów Wlkp., Dobroszyce, Gryfów Śląski, Zgorzelec.
