FREE PARTICIPATION Organizers received funding from European Union in the framework of European Regional Development Fund and national budget through Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Euroregion. Therefore the participation in the conference is free of charge. We provide accommodation in a hotel. PhDr. Soňa Jandová, Ph.D. Prorector of TUL Conference proceedings (Plenary session) Lunch Workshop 1 Coffee break Workshop 2 Gala dinner 14.11.2013 (Thursday) 09:00 10:30 – 11:00 11:00 – 12:00 12:00 – 13.00 Visit to a local company Coffee break Closing of the conference Lunch MAP INDICATING THE PLACE OF THE CONFERENCE INVITATION International Conference ACC and TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER IN NYSA-NEISSENYSA EUROREGION Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra 13 - 14 November 2013 Project „ACC and Technology Transfer in NeisseNisa-Nysa Euroregion” is co-financed by European Union in the framework of European Regional Development Fund and national budget through Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Euroregion HONORARY COMMITTEE AIM AND SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS Professors, Rectors The conference is aimed at: widening the knowledge on transferring results of research from universities to national economy including medium and small enterprises, increasing awareness of necessity to create firm links between business and higher education units within Euroregion Neisse – Nisa – Nysa (ERN), reporting on the current status of trilateral cooperation of universities in the ERN as well as their capacity for technology transfer. The organizer plans to publish post-conference pro-ceedings in English language, containing full texts of articles. We ask the authors to send in their articles to [email protected] by 15.12.2013. The size of the articles should not exceed 10 pages written in Times New Roman font, size 12, line spacing 1,5. The organizers retain the right to choose articles sent in for publication. We have at our disposal funding for proof-reading of articles submitted in English and possible translations of articles written in Polish or Czech language into English. Information on acceptance of articles for publication will be sent to the authors by 31.01.2014 by e-mail. Moreover, we expect participation of representatives from partner institutions belonging to ACC. REGISTRATION Registration forms are obligatory for both: participants with presentations or without approved participation includes accommodation and catering. Funding covers only a limited number of participants, so the registrations will be accepted on the first come principle. Attached registration forms should be sent to [email protected] until 15.10.2013. CONFERENCE LANGUAGES Conference languages are English, Polish and Czech, post-conference proceedings will be published in English. Presentations in German language are possible (simultaneous translation will be provided). Scope of the presentations: technologies elaborated by universities including these already implemented and those ready for introduction, examples of common initiatives of academia and businesses, among them research projects financed by outside sponsors, results of theoretical investigations on transfer of knowledge form research units to those implementing these results, reports on bi-, tri- and multi-lateral undertakings carried out within the ERN reports of the bi-tri and multinational undertakings within the academic network in the Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Euroregion– Academic Coordination Center (ACC), other initiatives and achievements with reference to the theme of the conference.
