Programme
Monday, 24th April
08: 10.00 Arrivals – registration: Rectorate Hall, Lwówecka 18
10.00 – 12:00
Welcoming Guests by the Management of Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra. A short
presentation of the education system in Poland, Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra and
the city of Jelenia Góra. Presentation of the agenda of the week.
12:00 – 13:30 EDUCATION AND CULTURE EXCHANGE FAIR
During the fair each University can show informational materials and provide information to
other Universities on the programmes offered and arrangements for academic and student
mobility, as well as ERASMUS Student placements and staff training opportunities. The fair
can also serve as a basis for the development of co-operations between EU and Non-EU
Universities. Participants will be offered stands at which they can present their materials.
Presentations and the tasting of traditional and dietetic food from Poland (prepared e.g. by
the students of Dietetics) and treats from various countries.
13:30 – visiting of the Campus of Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra
17.00: Welcoming dinner - city of Jelenia Góra, walking tour of the city

14.30: Visiting the dendrological route and Faculties at Karkonosze College in Jelenia
Góra
Wednesday, 26th April
All day: Individual training and lecturing arrangements with the Faculties and/or
Departments, campus of Karkonosze College (separate schedule for each
participant). Participants can freely attend the lectures programme.
09.30: Library and Scientific Information Centre, Lwówecka 18: registration of participants
to the 3rd Conference Day.
10.00: Welcome speech by the Director of the Library and Scientific Information Centre
mgr Kazimierz Stąpór, visiting of the Library

Workshops: Internationalisation of Higher Institutions
Best practices on the issues of internationalization management of student and staff
mobility on the example of Erasmus+ Programme, organization of practical
placements abroad, benefits of studying and practical practice abroad, foreign
language learning, discussions of possibilities of creating common degree
programmes.
Other workshops can be organized after the final list of participants is closed.
Thursday, 27th April
All day: individual training and lecturing arrangements with the Faculties and/or
Departments, campus of Karkonosze College (separate schedule for each participant).
15:00 Common visit to a local agro-tourist farm in the Jelenia Góra Valley.
Evaluation and conclusions of the STW by the participants.
Friday, 28 th April
If required: individual training and lecturing arrangements with the Faculties and/or
Departments, campus of Karkonosze College (separate schedule for each participant).
09:00 The Valley of Palaces and Gardens: historical training tour, lunch on the way.
