FAMILY CONNECTION
The season of Advent invites us to renew our lives in
preparation for the coming of Jesus. The people who
heard the message of John the Baptist repented for
their sins and were baptized as a sign of God's
forgiveness. In Baptism, our sins are forgiven, and we
receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, who helps us in our
life of discipleship. Led by the Holy Spirit, we use
this Advent season to renew our lives so that we, like
John the Baptist, might prepare the way for Jesus.
As you gather together as a family, talk about ways in
which the example of others has called you to be a
follower of Jesus. Name the people who have been
examples to you of Christian discipleship and
describe their characteristics that you have tried to
emulate. As John the Baptist prepared the way for
Jesus, Baptism commissions us to prepare the way of
the Lord. The gift of the Holy Spirit leads us to
continually renew our lives so that we might lead
others to Jesus. As a family, identify at least one
action that you will take this week to try to be more
faithful followers of Jesus. Conclude in prayer
together that God will receive this action and use it to
lead others to Jesus. (Loyola Press)
IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
Family Connection
To be chosen by God for a particular task is an
awesome thing. That is why we honor Mary, the one
chosen by God to be the mother of Jesus. Yet we
believe that each of us is chosen by God in particular
and important ways, and each of us is given gifts and
talents by God to share with the world. One of the
tremendous responsibilities of parenting is helping
our children determine the gifts and talents they have
to share with others to serve the reign of God. As a
family, identify some of the gifts and talents that God
has given each person in the family. Talk about the
ways in which these gifts and talents might be used in
the service of others. Recall that Mary was given a
special task by God. Reflect upon Mary's humble
response to God's call. Pray as a family that each
person will be like Mary and respond to God with a
resounding yes by using their gifts and talents to
serve others in both large and small ways. Conclude
by praying together the Hail Mary, or perhaps pray a
decade of the Rosary, reflecting upon the Joyful
Mystery, the Annunciation. (Loyola Press)
FAMILY MASS
On the first Sunday of each Month the 11:45 Mass
will be a Family Mass. During the homily the
children will go into the chapel for an explanation of
the Gospel and readings.

Zamyślenia Adwentowe.
Jeśli Bóg tak nas kocha, to dlaczego tak kiepsko nam
idzie.
grzechu. Cała historia zbawienia to jedno wielkie
znaczenia. Że to niby taka naiwna, mityczna
opowiastka o zrywaniu jabłuszek w ogrodzie. A ten
fragment Biblii to jeden z podstawowych tekstów
kluczy do rozumienia historii świata i siebie samego.
Świat nie chce dziś słuchać o grzechu. Wyznanie
zbudować sobie wieżę do nieba.
roboty prosto do mózgu, albo wybiera realny, szary
świat, w którym trzeba będzie mierzyć się z trudną
rzeczywistością. Ten film jest świetną metaforą
naszego świata. Ucieczka w matrix, czyli świat bez
odpowiedzialności, bez winy, bez grzechu, bez dobra i
zła, w wieczny film czy grę komputerową – ta pokusa
dziś jest potężna. Sumienie można zdusić, ale
rzeczywistości nie da się oszukać. Przychodzi
moment, w którym zło wystawia rachunek i każe
sobie słono płacić. Nieraz lecimy jak ćma do ognia,
pokrzykując radośnie, że wszystko się jakoś ułoży.
Nie, nie ułoży się! Grzech niszczy, zabija.
trzeźwiącą prawdę i obudzić pragnienie zbawienia.
