Aims of teaching
The aim of the course is to broaden language skills in a foreign language, which refer to the grammar
and lexical forms, effective communication and openness to the challenges of today's job market.
Student can precisely describe a person and city, fluently talks about daily habits, distinguishes
political parties in the GB. Student can actively initiate and maintain a discussion and present effective
turn taking.

The goal of this course unit is to keep good body condition, to build a habit of doing sports
systematically and to get students familiar with physical classesss that mould posture, stamina
and strenght.

Course content
Health and safety regulations in physical education. Human motor activity. Strenghtening of all
muscles group. Work on strenght, stamina, fastness, agility, jumping ability and flexibility of the
body. Enhancement of general motor activity. Solidification of healthy behavior patterns, caring
of own body and fitness. Basketball and volleyball skills at recreational level. Indtroduction of
modern forms of exercising – fitness, gym.

Basic structural and functional plant cell anatomy of the root, shoot and leaf. Water in the plants.
Mineral nutrition of plants. Hydroponics. Photosynthesis, light reactions, the binding and
reduction of carbon dioxide. Plants of C3, C4 and CAM. Respiration of plants. Translocation and
distribution of photoassimilates. The growth and development of plants. Hormonal regulation of
development, plant hormones. The role of the light and the temperature in the growth and
development of plants. Photoperiodism, vernalization. Physiology of seed germination. The
movements and movement mechanisms in plants. The response of plants to stress factors.

Introduction, definitions, basic concepts in geology. Structure of theEarth, the main hypothesis of
the origin of the Earth. Historical Geology. The main geological processes. Plate tectonics,
catastrophic events (tsunamis, earthquakes). Volcanism and plutonism. The definition of the
mineral, physical and chemical properties of minerals. Sedimentary, igneous, metamorphic rocks.
Glacial, glaciofluvial and periglacial landscapes. Processes and aeolian landforms. Activity of
rivers. The slope processes. Surface mass movements. Landsacpe forms.

Aims of teaching
The aim of the course is to improve : a technical drawing basics, the skills that effective use of
tools as: rapidograph - technical pen, steel marker pen, and making drawings of simple objects
according to the rules and standards for the construction drawings.

The principle and the role of drawing techniques in the workshop of the designer. Drawing
Techniques and Tools (rapidograph, technical pen, pencils of different thickness). Rules for the
drafting of technical drawings in accordance with the regulations, rules and standards relating to
building construction drawing.

Aims of teaching
The aim of the course is to improve : design basics elements of the landscape, such as the ability
to apply the principles of architectural composition and urban design in shaping the the nearest
area surrounding the person and to present its vision, using the basic techniques of drawing and
apply the principles of preparation of architectural drawings. Training abilities to present their
design solution in a public speech.

To pass the course is to obtain a positive assessment of the written exam (P_W01, P_W02,
