PRONOUNS (part I)
Zaimek osobowy Przymiotnik dzierżawczy Zaimek dzierżawczy I my mine you your yours he his his she her hers it its its we our ours you your yours they their theirs Dopełnienie me you him her it us you them Zaimek "I" jest używany jako podmiot w zdaniu (I'm here.), "me" jako dopełnienie (She took me home.), "my" w formie dzierżawczej przed rzeczownikiem (This is my book.), natomiast ”mine” w formie dzierżawczej zamiast rzeczownika (The book is mine.). To samo odnosi się do pozostałych zaimków osobowych. Zaimki zwrotne W języku polskim tymi zaimkami są: się, sobie, siebie. I tak w każdej osobie. W języku angielskim dla każdej osoby jest inne słówko. liczba pojedyncza liczba mnoga I myself we ourselves you yourself you yourselves he she it himself herself itself they themselves Po polsku jest łatwo - zawsze "się". W angielskim trzeba pamiętać o osobie i użyć właściwego zaimka. Yesterday I bought myself a new car. Wczoraj kupiłem sobie nowy samochód. Take care of yourself! Uważaj na siebie! Autor: Agnieszka Szefer Konsultant: Bartosz Kuczyński Tell me something about yourself. He's really enjoying himself. We never think only about ourselves. They like talking about themselves. Powiedz mi coś o sobie. On naprawde się dobrze bawi. My nigdy nie myślimy tylko o sobie. Oni lubią mówić o sobie. Zaimki emfatyczne Form tego zaimka używa się także dla podkreślenia, że ktoś wykonał daną czynność sam – osobiście. The king himself came to see us. You better see it yourself. Tom will help us himself. She must buy this book herself. Sam król przyszedł się z nami zobaczyć. Lepiej jak sam to zobaczysz. Tomek sam nam pomoże. (nie musimy go prosić) Ona sama musi kupić tę książkę. Skoro tych samych przyimków używamy w różnych funkcjach musimy nauczyć się je rozróżniać They asked themselves a question. Oni zadali sobie pytanie. They asked the question themselves. Oni sami zadali pytanie EXERCISES 1. Fill in the gaps with a correct possessive adjective or possessive pronoun.
