ORGANISATIONAL INFORMATION
1. DATE AND VENUE
The conference will be held from 19th to 20th September 2013.
The conference proceedings will take place at the Institute of European Studies, located in
the Przegorzały Castle. Przegorzały is a part of Cracow which lies between Bielany and
Zwierzyniec, 6 km away from the city centre (Main Square).
The Institute of European Studies can be reached by:
1. Public transport, i.e.:

From the main train and bus station: take tram no. 2 from “Dworzec Główny” and get off
at “Salwator”. From there (Salwator bus loop) take one of the following bus numbers:
109, 209, 229, 239, 249, 259, 269, and get off at the bus stop “Przegorzały”. From there
you will have to walk up the hill to the Institute.

From the city centre: take tram no. 1 or 6 (from “Plac Wszystkich Świętych” or
“Filharmonia”) or tram no. 2 (from “Teatr Bagatela” or “Filharmonia”) and get off at
“Salwator”. From there (Salwator bus loop) take a bus no. 109, 209, 229, 239, 249, 259,
269, and get off at the bus stop “Przegorzały”. From there you will have to walk up the hill
to the Institute.

Alternatively, you can take the bus no. 109 from the bus stop Cracovia which is located
within walking distance from the Old Town (15-20 min). You can also take the bus
no. 134 from bus stop “Cracovia stadion” to bus stop “Zoo”, from where you will have to
walk 10-15 min through the Wolski Woods

2. FORMS OF PARTICIAPTION
(1) Registered participants with a paper:
The conference fee is 100 EUR per delegate.
It covers conference materials, catering during coffee breaks, lunch and dinner on the
first day of the conference as well as the cost of the post-conference publication.
(2) Registered participants without a paper:
The conference fee is 75 EUR per delegate.
It covers catering during coffee breaks, lunch and dinner on the first day of the
conference. Delegates will also receive our post-conference publication.
(3) Participation without registration
Free.
Fees should be paid by bank transfer.

The conference fee does not include accommodation and transportation costs.
3. ACCOMMODATION
Delegates are requested to arrange their own accommodation. When choosing a hotel,
please note that the conference proceedings will take place at the Institute of European
Studies, which is located outside the city centre.
For those of you who would like our assistance with the organization of accommodation, we

4. PRESENTATIONS
Speeches during panel sessions should not exceed 15 minutes.
Computers and multimedia projectors will be at the disposal of conference participants. All
presentations should be delivered on a pen drive during coffee breaks prior to the session.
5. RECEPTION
The conference dinner and concert will take place on the first day of the conference
(September, 19th) at 7.30 p.m. at the restaurant Piano Rouge, which is situated on the Main
Square.
