Test konkursowy zawiera 12 zadań. Są to zadania zamknięte i otwarte. Na ich rozwiązanie masz 90 minut. Sprawdź, czy test jest kompletny. 2. Zanim udzielisz odpowiedzi, uważnie przeczytaj treść zadania. 3. Wszystkie odpowiedzi czytelnie i wyraźnie wpisuj w wyznaczonych miejscach. 4. Przy rozwiązywaniu zadań zamkniętych wyboru wielokrotnego wybierz jedną, prawidłową odpowiedź i zaznacz ją krzyżykiem, np.: A XB C D Jeżeli się pomylisz i zechcesz wybrać inną odpowiedź, to złe zaznaczenie otocz kółkiem XB , po czym skreśl właściwą literę, np.: A XB XC D 5. W innych zadaniach samodzielnie sformułuj odpowiedź i wpisz ją lub wykonaj zadanie zgodnie z instrukcją zawartą w poleceniu. Przedstaw tok rozumowania prowadzący do wyniku. 6. Test wypełniaj długopisem, nie używaj korektora, ołówka ani gumki. Nie komunikuj się z innymi uczestnikami konkursu. 7. Podczas rozwiązywania zadań nie możesz korzystać ze słowników ani innych pomocy naukowych. 8. Sprawdź wszystkie odpowiedzi przed oddaniem testu. 9. Nie podpisuj testu, zostanie on zakodowany. 10. Przeczytaj tekst o Australii. Na jego podstawie połącz liczby (1–10) znajdujące się pod tekstem z ich znaczeniem (a–j), wpisując przy każdej liczbie odpowiednią literę. Australia by numbers Australia is the sixth largest country in the world. It’s thirty-one times bigger than Britain but only twenty-four million people live there (sixty-four million people live in the UK). The Outback Seventy percent of Australia is hot, dry land called ‘the outback’. It’s easy to get lost in the outback because there aren’t many people, cars or buildings. It’s hot and you must always have water with you when you travel. Kids in the outback can’t go to school. They have lessons on the radio. There are thirteen ‘flying doctor centres’ in Australia. They play the didgeridoo (a big wooden pipe) and hunt with a boomerang. Their ‘holy place’ is Ayers Rock. It’s located in the middle of Australia. It’s three kilometres long and three hundred and fortyeight metres high. The Aboriginal word for it is ‘Uluru’. There are caves in the Rock with Aboriginal paintings. Sydney Eighty-seven percent of Australian people think that Sydney is the best city in the world. It’s twice as big as New York but only three million people live there. Sydney is the sunniest city in Australia. There are usually only twenty-three days a year without sun. It’s an international city and people from Europe, the Middle East and Asia like living there.
