Przeczytaj poniższy tekst, a następnie dobierz do każdego akapitu odpowiedni tytuł, wstawiając odpowiednią literę (A–G) obok numeru (1–5). Dwa tytuły zostały podane dodatkowo i nie pasują do żadnej odpowiedzi. The environment 1. .................. . It has many different parts, just like the pieces of a big puzzle. Humans, animals, buildings, the earth, the air, the seas, our climate... and all these parts are connected with one another! Together they form something that we call the environment. 2. .................. . If one part of the environment changes, other parts change, too. Sometimes the changes do not cause any negative effects on the environment. For example, people clean the water in a city. As a result, more oxygen enters the water. Plants start to grow again, and insects and fish return. 3. .................. . Sometimes changes can be both! For example, there is a lot of traffic in a city. The roads are narrow, and the lorries and cars cannot move. The air is full of traffic gases. People get ill. So the city planners decide to build a big road around the city. The air in the city becomes cleaner, but the new road brings problems, too. The traffic fumes pollute the fields on which farmers grow plants. 4. .................. . The environment is an important part of our lives. This means our home, our food, our street and all the things that surround us. Each part is connected to some other parts. That’s why the environment is so interesting – and so close to our hearts. We must understand these connections if we want to protect our families, our world and to avoid natural disasters. 5. .................. . It is an excellent example that shows us how everything in the environment is connected. The first link are plants. They are producers because they make their own energy. The second link are animals that eat plants to get energy. They are first-level consumers. There are also second-level consumers: animals that eat other animals. Finally, we have decomposers – organisms that consume dead plants and animals. They clean the environment. All links are important so when people destroy one link in our nature, they also damage other links. A. B. C. D. E. F. G. Positive changes. Our personal environment. Negative changes. Positive AND negative? What is “the environment”? Natural disasters The food chain. 2 z 10 WOJEWÓDZKIE KONKURSY PRZEDMIOTOWE 2014/2015 – SZKOŁA PODSTAWOWA STOPIEŃ WOJEWÓDZKI Zadanie 2. (5 p.)
