The parents of the school children will be selling
SPLIT THE POT raffle tickets during the month
of April after all weekend Masses. The drawing
will be held at 5PM at the Family Fiesta on April
27th. Your support of this project to raise funds
for our school will be most appreciated.
On April 29th, the students will participate in a STUDENT WALK-ATHON fundraiser. If you would like to sponsor a students, please
contact the school office. Prizes are awarded to students that exceed the amount assigned for each student. Students will be reaching out to the relatives and friends to help them raise funds to support their WALK-A-THON.
On any school day, prospective families are invited to make a tour
of the school. A small gift will be given to each family during the tour
for considering St. Mary’s as the school for their child. Call the

The next Religious Education
Class (CCD) is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2008. Classes begin at 8am and dismissal
is at 10am.
St. Laurence High School is hosting its 8th annual Final
Four Extravanza, an evening of action and entertainment,
on Saturday, April 5, 2008. This year’s event features a
Super Raffle with cash prizes, casino gaming, a Texas
hold’em tournament, a silent auction, and jumbo-screen
viewing of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. Supporters of the school are invited to attend and renew acquaintances with friends, faculty and alumni. Activities are
open to the public from 4:00 p.m. until midnight at 77th
Street and Central Avenue in southwest suburban Burbank. For more information call (708) 458-6900, ext. 253.
St. Joseph High School, 10900 W. Cermak Road in Westchester will hold its annual fundraiser “CHARGERFEST” on
Saturday, April 19, in the gym of the north campus. Events
commence at 6:30 p.m. and continue until midnight. The
evening will offer live entertainment, an open bar, all you
can eat buffet, Games, Auction and Raffle Tables. A purchase of a “Super Raffle” ticket at $100 offers a chance to
win $10,000 and allows one free admission to “ChargerFest. Regular admission is $50. For ticket information

St. Daniel the Prophet Parish, 54th & Nashville Ave in Chicago will host Catholic Evangelist Michael Cumbie as a
guest speaker on Sunday April 13th at 7:30 p.m. As a former Southern Baptist convert, Michael has been on EWTN
radio. Michael has a unique talent of teaching the Faith and
getting his audiences rolling with laughter! Michael can
convince people to reaffirm and enlighten their faith, with a
unique and humorous perspective. A Free Will donation is

Today is a day like no other. So
let’s run to the tomb, bend down,
and look in to find that it is empty!
Let’s see and believe! Let’s join
with all of creation, with all the holy
men and women who have gone
before us, and the angels of the
heavenly choir, in song of exultation and praise of the risen Lord!
“Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ” You were put to death but
rose again! The tomb is empty. Not even death could hold
you in its power-you have broken the chains! The darkness
could not swallow up your perfect light!
“We exult in you, Jesus, for we have received forgiveness
through your name! You have broken the power of sin!
God’s never-ending mercy takes flesh in you and proves its
faithfulness. You have risen and loosed the grip of sin! Now
we, too, need not die. We can live because you have risen
from the dead. Our hope is in you, and you are completely
faithful!
“Thank you, Jesus, that we have been raised up with you!
You share your glory with us, welcoming us as brothers and
sisters, fellow citizens of heaven. We could never raise ourselves up, but you have removed our unworthiness, cleansed

Domingo de Pascua
El primer día después del sábado, María Magdalena fue
al sepulcro muy temprano, cuando todavía estaba oscuro, y vio que la piedra que cerraba la entrada del sepulcro había sido removida. Fue corriendo en busca de Simón Pedro y del otro discípulo a quien Jesús amaba y
les dijo: «Se han llevado del sepulcro al Señor y no sabemos dónde lo han puesto.»
Pedro y el otro discípulo salieron para el sepulcro. Corrían los dos juntos, pero el otro discípulo corrió más
que Pedro y llegó primero al sepulcro. Como se inclinara, vio los lienzos tumbados, pero no entró. Pedro llegó
detrás, entró en el sepulcro y vio también los lienzos
tumbados. El sudario con que le habían cubierto la cabeza no se había caído como los lienzos, sino que se mantenía enrollado en su lugar. Entonces entró también el
otro discípulo, el que había llegado primero, vio y creyó.
Pues no habían entendido todavía la Escritura: ¡él
"debía" resucitar de entre los muertos!

que podamos celebrar esta fiesta en nuestras familias.

Estimados feligreses y amigos de Santa
Maria de Czestochowa,
¡Aleluya! ¡Cristo Resucitado es nuestra
vida!
Pascua es un día como ningún otro.
¡Alegrémonos junto con toda creación,
con todos los santos que nos han precedido y los angelitos del coro celestial en las canciones de júbilo
y de alabanza al Señor Resucitado!
Jesús es el centro de nuestra atención en este día de Pascua:
“No se asusten. Si ustedes buscan a Jesús Nazareno, el crucificado, no esta aquí, ha resucitado. El se les adelanta camino a
Galilea” (Marcos, 16:6-7.) Así, Jesús nos adelanta en camino.
Pongamos nuestros ojos en El y lo sigamos. ¡Él se nos adelanta
como nuestra Luz!
Cuando se lleva el Cirio Pascual en la procesión durante de la
celebración del Sábado Santo, proclamamos que Cristo es
nuestra “Luz.” Cristo nuestra Luz nos adelanta para darnos el
perdón, la esperanza y el sentido de la vida. Cristo nuestra
¨Luz¨ nos adelanta desde el nacimiento hasta la muerte y nos
lleva a la vida eterna.
Más que nunca, somos fortalecidos por la Resurrección de Jesús en esta Pascua. En la Sagrada Escritura El nos asegura que
nunca nos abandonará. De Él nos viene la esperanza y la paz.
En este día de Pascua y durante toda temporada de Pascua vamos a rezar para que sigan a Cristo, Nuestra Luz, Que va ante
Uds. y que aprecien nuevo e inolvidable, camino de paz, júbilo
y esperanza que El, el Resucitado puede dar.
¡Una Feliz y Bendita Pascua y Que Dios Los Bendiga siempre!

La Celebración comunitaria
de la Unción de los Enfermos.
El sábado 29 de Marzo en las vísperas de Domingo de la Divina Misericordia, en nuestra parroquia
habrá la celebración comunitaria de
la Unción de los Enfermos durante
la Masa a horas 5PM. Con este sacramento de la Unción de los Enfermos, el enfermo recibirá fuerza de Dios en su lucha contra enfermedad. Por favor informe a sus enfermos familiares o sus amigos para que puedan participar en
esta celebración. También le pedimos para que
faciliten la llegada de los enfermos a nuestra iglesia parroquial.

Niedziela Zmartwychwstania Pańskiego
A pierwszego dnia po szabacie, wczesnym rankiem, gdy jeszcze było ciemno, Maria Magdalena
udała się do grobu i zobaczyła kamień odsunięty
od grobu. Pobiegła więc i przybyła do Szymona
Piotra i do drugiego ucznia, którego Jezus kochał,
i rzekła do nich: «Zabrano Pana z grobu i nie wiemy, gdzie Go położono». Wyszedł więc Piotr i ów
drugi uczeń i szli do grobu. Biegli oni obydwaj razem, lecz ów drugi uczeń wyprzedził Piotra i przybył pierwszy do grobu. A kiedy się nachylił, zobaczył leżące płótna, jednakże nie wszedł do środka. Nadszedł potem także Szymon Piotr, idący za
nim. Wszedł on do wnętrza grobu i ujrzał leżące
płótna oraz chustę, która była na Jego głowie, leżącą nie razem z płótnami, ale oddzielnie zwiniętą na jednym miejscu. Wtedy wszedł do wnętrza
także i ów drugi uczeń, który przybył pierwszy do
grobu. Ujrzał i uwierzył. Dotąd bowiem nie rozumieli jeszcze Pisma, [które mówi], że On ma powstać z martwych.

Boże Miłosierdzie
Zapraszamy na Uroczystości Bożego
Miłosierdzia w naszej parafii, które się
odbędą dnia 30 marca. Centralna uroczystość rozpocznie się o godzinie
3:00 PM Koronką do Bożego Miłosierdzia, po której odbędzie się procesja
wokół naszego bloku a potem będzie
oprawiona Msza św. Prosimy o przybycie na tę uroczystość w strojach regionalnych.

Drodzy Parafianie i Przyjaciele kościoła MB Częstochowskiej.
Alleluja! Chrystus Zmartwychwstały Pan jest naszym życiem!
Wielkanoc jest wyjątkowym dniem. Wspólnie z całym stworzeniem, z wszystkimi świętymi, którzy są już w niebie, z aniołami i chórami
niebios śpiewajmy pieśń chwały Zmartwychwstałemu
Panu!
To Jezus skupia całą naszą uwagę w tym wielkanocnym
dniu: „Nie bójcie się! Szukacie Jezusa z Nazaretu, ukrzyżowanego; powstał, nie ma Go tu. On idzie przed wami
do Galilei.” (Mk 16, 6-7). Rzeczywiście Jezus idzie przed
nami. Skierujmy na Niego nasze spojrzenie i podążajmy
za Nim. On idzie przed nami jako nasze Światło!
Kiedy w Wielką Sobotę w czasie Liturgii Wigilii Paschalnej będziemy uroczyście wnosić nowo poświęcony paschał usłyszymy okrzyk, że Chrystus jest naszym
„Światłem.” On idzie przed nami, aby nam dać przebaczenie, nadzieję i sens życia. Chrystus nasze „Światło”
idzie przed nami od momentu narodzin aż do śmierci i
prowadzi nas do życia wiecznego.
Bardziej niż kiedykolwiek indziej jesteśmy umocnieni
przez Zmartwychwstanie Jezusa podczas tegorocznej
Wielkanocy. On obiecał nam w swoim Słowie, że nas
nigdy nie opuści. W Nim tylko jest nasza nadzieja i spokój.
W Dniu Zmartwychwstania i przez cały okres wielkanocny będziemy się modlić za was, drodzy parafianie, abyście zawsze szli za Chrystusem, naszym Światłem, który
nas prowadzi do Ojca przedziwnymi drogami pokoju,
radości i nadziei, których tylko On może udzielić.
Szczęśliwych Świąt Wielkanocnych i niech Bóg Was
zawsze błogosławi!

Kurs przed Chrztem dziecka
Przypominamy, że w każdą trzecią
niedzielę miesiąca w naszej parafii
po Mszy św. o godz. 10.30 odbywa
się kurs przygotowujący rodziców i
chrzestnych do chrztu dziecka.
Osoby zamierzające ochrzcić dziecko w naszej parafii są proszone o zgłoszenie się
na ten kurs prze chrztem dziecka. Dlatego należy
pamiętać, aby:
► zgłosić się do kancelarii parafialnej przynajmniej półtora miesiąca prze chrztem. (Aby
uczestniczyć w kursie przygotowującym)
► Przy zapisaniu chrztu jest wymagany akt urodzenia dziecka.
Prasa Katolicka
Tak jak w każdą niedzielę tak również i
dzisiaj wychodząc z kościoła można nabyć nowy numer Tygodnika Katolickiego
„Niedziela”. Znajdziemy tam bardzo ciekawe artykuły na temat życia kościoła w Polsce także naszej Archidiecezji. Czytając
ten tygodnik a także inne publikacje np.:
„Różaniec”, „Anioł stróż”, „Rodzina Radia Maryja” pogłębiamy naszą wiarę oraz miłość do Boga i Kościoła.
Jest także do wzięcia za darmo gazeta „Katolik” wydawana przez naszą Archidiecezję Chicago.

polskim będzie o godz. 7-ej wieczorem.
