Stewardship Note: “Then he took a cup, gave thanks and
gave it to them AND THEY ALL DRANK FROM IT.” Jesus, the perfect steward, gave thanks, just before He gave Himself to us completely for our salvation. He offers us the chance
to drink from His cup. In the Eucharist, we meet Christ personally and if we listen to Him, we know what drinking from His
cup means for each of us. Often, it means our own sacrifice—
giving up some of our time, talent and treasure to do His work

CORPUS CHRISTI-BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST
On Sunday, June 7th throughout the Catholic
world we will celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus
Christi. This year the faithful from various parishes
of Webster and Dudley will join us at the 11:00am
Liturgy in our Basilica.
After Mass we will process toward Sacred Heart of Jesus
Church/Emmaus Center praying at four altars. The four altars
remind us of the four Gospels. The altars will be set on the
road —the first one at the front of St. Joseph Rectory, the second at the corner of Washington and Whitcomb Streets, the
third at the Sacred Heart Church parking lot and the fourth at
the Emmaus Center.
Although the route is not long, those who have difficulty
walking may join the procession at one of the altars. As the
Blessed Sacrament travels through the streets, we ask people to
decorate their homes, put candles in the windows and pay respect to the Blessed Sacrament..
We invite parishioners, parish organizations, various ministries in their official attire and banners, First Communion
Class, Children of Mary, Altar Servers and Boy Scouts to join
us.
May our participation in this procession be an expression of

On Wednesday, June 10th members of the Holy Rosary Sodality are invited to carry the statue of our Patron from the Our
Lady of Czestochowa Chapel to the Sanctuary at 7:00pm for
the Novena and Devotion to St. Joseph.
We encourage parishioners and friends to join us and take
advantage of the opportunity to receive graces through the intercession of St. Joseph.

FRIDAY NIGHT BINGO
We invite our parishioners and their family members to join
our “Bingo Regulars” on Friday, June 12 at St. Joseph School.
Doors open at 5:00pm and games begin at 6:45pm. Food is
available for a light supper and we provide free coffee to our
participants.
We ask members of the #12980 Chapter of the Knights of
Columbus to assist our guests on the 12th.

CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION
The traditional outdoor candlelight procession in honor of
Our Lady of Fatima will take place on Saturday, June 13th at
7:00pm. We kindly request the Children of Mary to take part in
this beautiful tribute to our Lady wearing their distinctive dress
as they carry the statue of the Blessed Mother. We ask all the
faithful to join our school children, members of parish organizations, ministries and altar servers in praying the rosary.
The flowers in front of the Blessed Mother Altar for Our
Lady of Fatima is given in memory of Frank Kasierski from
wife, Dottie.
CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2015!
Next Saturday, June 13th at 4:00pm Mass we will welcome

“Camp Catholic” Vacation Bible School” - June 22-26th
from 9am—12:00pm daily. Each day will have its own faith
based theme and will include music, a scripture story, crafts,
games and a snack. We welcome children in Pre-K and up.
Children in grades 6-12 are eligible to be camp counselors.
Adult volunteers are also needed to help during camp. Cost is
$30/week for campers. Sign-up sheets are available at the
entrances of Basilica.

World Youth Day 2016 - Pilgrimage to Krakow, Poland
July 19 - August 3, 2016. Every two years our young people
gather with the Holy Father in various locations. This tradition
began during the pontificate of Pope John Paul II and has
grown in popularity. The cost is $2500. More details

UROCZYSTOŚĆ BOŻEGO CIAŁA

„Podniosę kielich zbawienia i wezwę imienia Pańskiego.” (Ps 116, 13)
Dawne Przymierze było figurą nowego, które
zawarł Chrystus nie „przez krew kozłów i cielców,
lecz przez własną krew”. Podczas gdy w Starym
Testamencie ofiary były wielorakie i miały wartość
czysto zewnętrzną i symboliczną, w Nowym istnieje
tylko jedna ofiara, złożona „raz na zawsze”, jej wartość jest
bowiem wewnętrzna, rzeczywista, nieskończona. Nie ma
w niej ani zwierząt duszonych, ani ludzi cierpiących; ofiarą
i kapłanem jest Syn Boży, który stał się człowiekiem i „złożył
Bogu samego siebie jako nieskalaną ofiarę”; krew Jego ma
moc oczyszczania „naszego sumienia z martwych uczynków,
aby służyć Bogu Żywemu”. Nie dotyczy to już oczyszczenia
zewnętrznego, lecz wewnętrznego, które przekształca
człowieka od wewnątrz, obmywając go z grzechów, aby
„żywy” przez łaskę i miłość, mógł służyć „Bogu Żywemu”.
Odrodzenie chrześcijanina dokonuje się w wodzie chrztu; ona
jednak otrzymuje swoją moc z krwi Chrystusa, ponieważ „bez
rozlania krwi nie ma odpuszczenia”.

BOŻE CIAŁO
Dzisiejszej niedzieli obchodzimy uroczystość Bożego Ciała.
Po Mszy św. o godz. 11:00 pójdziemy w uroczystej procesji
ulicami naszego miasta do czterech ołtarzy. Procesję
zakończymy przed Emmaus Center przy kościele Sacred Heart.
Wszystkich parafian, którzy mieszkają przy trasie przejścia
procesji prosimy o udekorowanie domów i przez to
uwidocznienie swojej przynależności do Chrystusa.
Do udziału w procesji zapraszamy wszystkich parafian
i organizacje parafialne.
NOWENNA DO ŚW. JÓZEFA
W najbliższą środę zapraszamy do przyłączenia się do
członkiń Holy Rosary Sodality w Nowennie do św. Józefa,
jak zwykle o godz. 19:00. Wielokrotnie pośród próśb
zanoszonych za wstawiennictwem św. Józefa o potrzebne łask
od Boga, znajdują się również modlitwy uwielbienia
i dziękczynienia. Wiele osób uczestniczących w Nowennie
otrzymuje upragnioną pomoc. Zapraszamy wszystkich parafian
do wykorzystania tej wspaniałej okazji jaką daje nam opieka
i patronat św. Józefa.
BINGO
W piątek, 12 czerwca zapraszamy na cotygodniowe
rozgrywki Bingo. Grę rozpoczynamy o godz. 6:45. Drzwi
otwieramy już o godz. 17:00. Dla wszystkich uczestników
przewidziany poczęstunek oraz darmowa kawa. O pomoc w
przygotowaniach prosimy Knights of Colombos.
Dochody z Bingo zasilają budżet naszej szkoły.
NABOŻEŃSTWO FATIMSKIE
Na tradycyjne nabożeństwo ku czci Matki Bożej Fatimskiej
zapraszamy w najbliższą sobotę o godz. 19:00. Bardzo
serdecznie prosimy Children of Mary o udział w procesji
i niesienie figury Matki Bożej w procesji.

Uczniowie z klas 3-8 zapraszają na spektakl pod tytułem:

dniach 11 i 12 czerwca o godz. 19:30. Bilety w cenie $8 od
osoby dorosłej i $5 od ucznia w wieku 5-14 lat, a także dla
seniorów. Dzieci poniżej 4 lat wstęp wolny.
ST. JOSEPCH POLISH WOMAN’S CLUB
St. Josepch Polish Woman’s Club zapraszana w najbliższą
niedzielę na uroczystą instalację na Mszy św. o godz. 8:15. Po
Mszy św. członkinie klubu gromadzą się na śniadaniu w Public
House, Rte. 131, w Sturbridge. Osoby chętne do udziału w

FESTIWAL
19-21 czerwca
Festiwal to czas dla nas wszystkich, by wspólnym wysiłkiem
przyjąć gości, którzy nierzadko przybywają z odległych stron.
Sukces festiwalu w ogromnej mierze zależy od poświęcenia
wolontariuszy. Pomoc jest szczególnie potrzebna w kuchni przy
przygotowywaniu posiłków i podczas przygotowań na placu
przed i po festiwalu. Chętnych do pomocy prosimy
o wypełnienie formularzy znajdujących się przy wejściach do
Bazyliki.
W czasie festiwalu będziemy mogli skorzystać
z następujących atrakcji:
Piątek, 19 czerwca – początek o godz. 17:00. Możliwość
posmakowania wyśmienitych polskich i amerykańskich potraw.
Do tańca będzie grał zespół Maestro’s Men. Msza Festiwalowa.

Show, występ grupy Piast, Msza festiwalowa. Do tańca będą
grali Maesto’s Men oraz DJ Phou.
Niedziela, 21 czerwca – początek o godz. 12:00. Barbecue
Chicken (wymagane wcześniej zakupione bilety - $100 od
osoby), losowanie loterii. Zakończenie o godz. 16:00.
Country Store – Dziękujemy za otrzymane do tej pory datki,
Ciągle można jeszcze składać nie psujące się artykuły
żywnościowe do pojemników znajdujących się pryz wejściach
do Bazyliki.
Special Gift – kupony są dostępne na plebanii w cenie $2 za
jeden lub $5 za trzy.
Pastry Booth – domowe wypieki można przynosić w piątek,
sobotę i niedzielę w czasie festiwalu. Za przyniesione ciasto
będzie można odliczyć sobie godziny serwisowe w szkole!
Garage&Used Books Sale – prosimy o przynoszenie jedynie
przedmiotów użytku domowego. (Nie przyjmujemy
odbiorników telewizyjnych). Przedmioty będzie można
składać do garażu przy plebanii w piątek 12 czerwca w godz.
15:00 – 18:00 oraz w sobotę 13 czerwca od 9:00 do 12:00.
Loteria Pieniężna – $5000 nagród. Kupony prosimy składać
do koszyka z kolekta w kościele albo przesyłać na plebanię.
Wheelbarrow of Cheer Raffle – prosimy o darowizny
w postaci wina, piwa i innych napojów alkoholowych.
PARTNERS IN CHARITY
Bardzo serdecznie dziękujemy parafianom, którzy złożyli
ofiary na Partners in Charity. Naszą zbiórkę kończymy
dzisiejszej niedziel. Do zebrania sumy $25000, o którą zwróciła
się do nas Diecezja brakuje nam jeszcze $2093. Osoby, które
jeszcze chcą złożyć ofiary na ten cel mogą je umieszczać
w kopertach znajdujących się w ławkach. Bóg zapłać.
