ELEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
June 14, 2015
Stewardship Note: When each parishioner is living his or her role as a disciple of
Jesus Christ, the parish will experience
spiritual and financial growth needed to
carry out the Church’s mission.
Saint Paul argues that our experience of God’s trustworthiness thus far should make us a people of undaunted courage and
unshakeable faith. But at the same time Paul warns that faith
should also make us aware of our responsibility to do good as
faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

14th. At that time new officers will be introduced for 20152016. We are grateful to this group of ladies for their continuous support of St. Joseph School.
CORPUS CHRISTI REFLECTIONS
Last Sunday, we displayed a public tribute to the Blessed
Sacrament by processing from our Basilica to the Emmaus Center. I am profoundly grateful to the many people who understand the meaning of being a disciple of Christ and the obligation of evangelization. I appreciate the people from our parish,
Sacred Heart Parish and St. Andrew Bobola Church, the First
Communion Class, as well as last year’s class, Children of
Mary, Altar Servers, Parish Ministries and Boy Scouts who
joined us on this perfect sunny day. Small children in national
costumes who were scattering flower petals added dignity to
this occasion. Thank you to the choir members who decorated
the First Altar and Fr. Gregory for controlling the sound system. May God reward all the participants.
This week’s second collection is for Higher Utility & Energy.
Next weekend’s second collection is designated for the
Catholic Communication Campaign

GIFT TO HOLY CROSS COLLEGE
If a contemporary school wants to be successful it has to
have all the modern facilities, equipment and technology to
attract the new generation of students. I was pleasantly surprised by the $32.5 million donation given to Holy Cross College by an alumnus. Even more surprising, this donation will
be used toward the Athletic Program to develop a $90 million
facility. Congratulations to Holy Cross College.
CATHOLIC COMMUNICATIONS CAMPAIGN
Pope Francis embraces all forms of the media to deliver his
message and carry out his mission to the Catholic Church.
Your support of the CCC provides Daily Mass, devotional and
informational programming and other special events as the upcoming papal visits to New York City, the United Nations,
Washington, DC and the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia.
Please give generously to the Catholic Communication Campaign collection which will be taken up at our Basilica next
weekend, June 20 & 21.

John Noonan, Bishop of Orlando. The ceremony took place at
the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the
Universe on Sat., June 6th. Dr. Knych is the son of the late

have three children, Adam, Sarah and Matthew. Currently, Dr.
Knych is the Vice President, Chief Quality & Patient Safety
Officer in the Office of Clinical Effectiveness for the fortythree hospitals in the Adventist Health System, the sixth largest

The quality of education at any school is verified in the life
of its alumni. Most certainly we are proud of the achievements
of Dr. Knych, a graduate of St. Joseph School. In addition to
his successful professional career, he cultivated the values of
his family, enhanced by St. Joseph School under the tutelage of
the Felician Sisters.
Dr. Knych’s wife, Audrey is the Director of Formation at
Corpus Christi Parish., Celebration, FL. This church was built
ten years ago at a cost of $9 million. The balance of the

KRONIKA PARAFIALNA
JEDENASTA NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA
14 czerwca 2015
Zasadzeni w domu Pańskim rozkwitną na dziedzińcach naszego Boga.
(Ps 92, 14)
Mówiąc o rzeczach nadprzyrodzonych,
Chrystus używa prostych porównań,
zaczerpniętych z codzienności. Zaprasza,
rzucającego ziarno Słowa w świat i dającego mu wzrost. Z tym
większą zatem wiarą wołajmy dziś do Niego: „Przyjdź
królestwo Twoje!”.

NOWENNA DO ŚW. JÓZEFA
Lato to wspaniały czas, kiedy mamy więcej czasu na odpoczynek
i refleksję, warto zastanowić się nad tym, jak bardzo możemy
korzystać z opieki Bożej i wstawiennictwa świętych patronów
w naszych codziennych potrzebach i nadzwyczajnych okolicznościach.
Cotygodniowa nowenna do św. Józefa daje nam możliwość stałego
kontaktu z naszym św. Patronem, który niejednokrotnie uzdolniał,
jak bardzo się o nas troszczy.
Przypominamy, że Nowennę do św. Józefa odprawiamy w każdą
środę o godz. 19:00.
