The Zakroczym Community is located in the north-western part of the Mazovian Voievodship, 25 km away
from Warsaw. The community is bordered by Pomiechówek and Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki to the east,
Czosnów and Leoncint the south, and the communities Joniec, Załuski and Czerwińsk nad Wisłą to the west.
Zakroczym is one of the oldest towns in Poland.
The mayor of the Zakroczym community, Henryk Ruszczyk explains how he is going to support investors’
enterprises.
Within the area of our community there are places, which due to the existing infrastructure and their
destination in the land development plan are attractive for potential investors. It is worth mentioning that
since there is the Local Land Development Plan being implemented on this area, the administrative
procedures which are necessary for receiving proper documents have been reduced to a minimum.
There are convenient transport connections which are to be found within the area of the community:
• roads – there are two very important communication arteries running over the area of the community:
the E7 two-lane expressway Warsaw-Gdańsk and the national road No. 62 Płock-ZakroczymWyszków
• railways – 3 km away from Zakroczym there is a railway station PKP-Modlin, located on the main
railway line North-South
• airports – the community neighbours on the Modlin airport
• river ways – there is a levee in the neighbouring Modlin, which one can reach both by the Vistula and
the Narew river.
Zakroczym and the areas surrounding it are one of Poland’s best base of the vegetable and gardening
industry. The production level does not differ from the world standards.
Due to the construction of the Modlin passenger airport, the community of Zakroczym is becoming the best
place for starting investments connected with tourism and related areas as well as those connected with the
airport operation.
The investment areas in the community of Zakroczym and their destination in the land development plan are
becoming the best place for establishing business connected with sport, tourism, gastronomy, hotel industry
as well as other economy sectors securing the passenger and goods air traffic.
