It is with heartfelt appreciation that the Trustees and
Committee Members acknowledge the dedication of
Trustee Ursula Głowala to the Scholarship Fund. May
God reward her faithful service and grant her eternal
rest with Him in heaven.
The Committee is most grateful to Father Adam for the
special liturgy and to Mrs. Virginia Blaha and St.
Joseph’s Choir for providing beautiful music for this
celebration. Our sincere appreciation is also extended to
all who support the Scholarship Fund. Your
contributions of Memorial cards and personal donations
make these scholarships possible.
Registration for First Holy Communion for the year
2015 in the Parish Office during regular hours. Please
indicate if your child will be taking English or Polish
classes.

Lighting of the Advent Candle
Next Sunday, November 30th, we will begin
the season of Advent. It prepares us for Christmas,
when we recall Christ’s first coming among us, and it is
also a time when we look forward to his second coming
at the end of the ages. Advent is a season of joyful
expectation. Before Mass begins each Sunday during
Advent, there is a prayer and the ceremony of lighting
the Advent Candle. If you and members of your family
would like to offer your services for this liturgical
celebration, please call the office or see Fr. Adam about
the time and date that you would prefer. A very sincere
“Thank You” to the parents of the children who
received their First Communion this year, for their
generous donation of $ 670.00 for the new Advent
candles.

Thank you to everyone who signed-up last
weekend! Individuals, couples and
families are encouraged to have their photo taken for our
parish 2016 photo directory book. There is no charge to
have your photo taken and NO OBLIGATION to
purchase a photo package. Each family/individual who
has their photo taken will receive one FREE Directory
and one 8”x10” colour portrait. There is limited dates and
times left to book. Please sign up at the back of the
Church today or call the parish office.

Świeca Adwentowa
W przyszłą niedzielę 30 listopada, w pierwszą niedzielę
Adwentu rozpoczynamy nowy rok liturgiczny. Jednym
z najbardziej wymownych zwyczajów Adwentu jest
zapalanie świec adwentowych w czasie niedzielnej
Eucharystii. Rodziny, które pragnęłyby wziąć udział w
ceremonii zapalania świec proszone są o wybranie daty,
godziny i powiadomienie kancelarii lub ks. Adama.
Nowe świece adwentowe zostały zakupione przez
rodziców dzieci, które w tym roku przystąpiły do
Pierwszej Komunii św. Złożona ofiara $ 670.00 pokryła
prawie w całości koszt tego pięknego daru ołtarza.

stypendia dla sześciu studentów należących do naszej
Rodziny Parafialnej.

kościelnego. Wszystkim tym, którzy czynnie włączyli
się do przygotowania i obchodów tej uroczystości
składamy gorące podziękowanie. Naszą wdzięczność
wyrażamy również członkom Komitetu Stypendialnego
oraz licznym ofiarodawcom, którzy od wielu lat hojnie
wspierają działalność tej jakże zasłużonej Fundacji
Parafialnej.
