Anna Plank
Ania Plank has been teaching at the Bilingual Translation course at
Westminster University since the introduction of the Polish Module in 2000 and
has taught at the translation, interpreting and editing modules. Educated at the
University of Warsaw, she holds a Master's degree in English Language and
Literature. After graduating she taught for several years at the University of
Warsaw, also sitting on entrance examination boards. Since her move to the UK
she taught Polish at further education colleges and worked for many years as
translator and interpreter, running her own translation company. She has
written several phrase books and travel companions. She holds other
professional qualifications, such as certified court interpreter, and is a full
member of the Institute of Linguists. She specialises in medical, pharmaceutical
and technical texts related to science and research.
