Streszczenie
Celem książki jest określenie reguł stosowania technik konwersacyjnych
w negocjacjach kryzysowych. Negocjacje kryzysowe rozumiane są jako
przeniesienie klasycznych definicji negocjacji na grunt psychologii kryzysu, obejmowałyby zatem wszelkie rozmowy podejmowane w sytuacjach
kryzysowych, nie tylko przez policję i inne służby mundurowe, ale i wszystkie osoby prowadzące rozmowy w sytuacjach kryzysowych (m.in. strażnicy
miejscy, personel placówek resocjalizacyjnych i terapeutycznych, personel
więziennictwa, służby zdrowia). Badania zmierzają do analizy stosowanych
środków językowych, wykładników mechanizmów perswazyjnych, w tym
argumentów używanych w dialogu przez rozmówców. W pierwszej części
książki określono cel pracy, układ i zawartość treściową rozdziałów, a także
metody, techniki i narzędzia badawcze. W rozdziałach scharakteryzowano
metody komunikowania się w sytuacjach kryzysowych.
W badaniach próbuje się znaleźć odpowiedź na pytanie, w jaki sposób
negocjator może wpłynąć na jakość procesu komunikowania się i wpływać
na zachowania innych w sytuacjach kryzysowych. Zakończenie zawiera
podsumowanie wyników badań, omówienie kwestii dyskusyjnych, a także
wskazano w nim znaczenie naukowe i praktyczne otrzymanych wyników
oraz sugestie dotyczące dalszych badań w analizowanych obszarach.
Summary
The book aims at determining applicative principles of conversational
techniques employed in crisis negotiations. Crisis negotiation is a concept
which sense stems from the transference of the classical definitions onto
the foundation of crisis psychology. Hence, crisis negotiations include all
conversations taking place in crisis situations, not only by the police or other
uniformed services, but also by all other individuals endeavoring to communicate with those involved in a crisis situations (such as municipal guards,
personnel of therapeutic and rehabilitative institutions, penitentiary personnel, health care personnel).
The research is directed towards the analysis of linguistic means employed in such contexts. In the course of the analyses of individual cases, the
author indicates particular exponents of persuasion mechanisms, including
arguments, to which interlocutors participating in the dialog resort. The first
part of the book explains the goals of the study to the reader and explains the
logic underlying the sequence and contents of its chapters; it also introduces
the reader to the methods, techniques and tools employed in the course of
the present research.
Streszczenie
The chapters discusses the methods of communications in crisis negotiations. The research try to find answers to questions of how a negotiator
may impact the quality of the process of communication or influence the
behaviors of others in situations of crisis. The concluding part of this work
offers a summary presentation of the outcomes of the study, followed by
the discussion of controversial issues that have surfaced in the course of
research, as well as the assessment of the academic and practical potential
of the findings hereby produced, eventually translated into suggestions concerning possible directions of further research within the discipline of crisis
negotiations.
